Your First Car after Deferred Action
Josemaria and one other reacted to Admin for a post in a topic
So you guys/girls might have a car for the moment. But I'm talking about being able to register your own car and get insurance and all that good stuff. What kind of car are you guys looking to get. I mean some people are just wanting anything to be able to come and go as they please. And others want to ride high and fly. Me personally, I've been thinking about a couple different cars like a BMW 535i or an Audi A5. At least 06 or higher. I'm not sure what I want yet. I'm also thinking about just getting a regular car but it has to be really nice at the same time. Again, a 2006 model or higher. I'm not a huge fan of older cars. Have any of you girls/guys thought about it? What kind of cars? -

2 pointsyou send both the 380 and the 85 for the biometrics together when you send your app and all your paperwork. if you sent the G-1145 then you will receive either an email or txt letting you know that USCIS has received your app. then you will receive a letter--not a phone call--from USCIS notifying you have your biometrics appt. you will need to have a government issued ID to take with you along with what the letter states.

2 pointsThis is hurtful to read. How can a person representing a state can be so hard on people? Arizona is the worst place to live and was ranked in the top 10 most boring States. People need to move out and let that governor deal with the economy because what immigrants do to work is not done by Americans.

2012 camaro or 2012 Durango (since I have like 20 kids) -
1 pointha, i think we should all go to AZ once we have our papers and apply for DLs. I mean, this is denying someone of their civil rights. if someone has the right to legally drive because they have the legal documents that the DMV requires, then how can they be denied that right?
-
1 pointLol.! Which is EXACTLY what one will received if approved. : ] She just f***** herself over. : > Making herself look like a butt head..
-
1 pointThat is just horrible.! WHAT I TERRIBLE PERSON.... What kind of person would do such a thing... This Governor shouldn't even be GOVERNOR.... A governor should is someone who listens to EVERYONE in their state... Not throw more than half the people aside, and treat them like worthless people...
-
1 pointHA, i just read on the AZ DMV site that you can apply for a DL with an I-766 and a SSN!!!
-
1 pointwhat is she going to do though. ok so those living in the state cant get DL's so they get in trouble for driving without a DL but they cant be deported because it's not a felony. it seems like a stupid circle that she made up to try and make herself look "good"

Lawyers can help
Rh_ny reacted to TheDeferredActionLawyer for a post in a topic
Good points both of you. Here is a link to a blog post I wrote summarizing an article by the President of AILA on this issue: Do DREAMers really need a lawyer? An excellent blog post by Laura Lichter the President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) It summarizes the scenarios where a lawyer could help. -
1 pointI would really love to get a Mustang 2005 maybe. I've loved Mustangs since I was a little girl lol. I am really exited because I will be able to drive legally now best feeling ever
-
1 pointSince I was in high school...Ive always wanted a Jeep, like one of those for off roading...and its weird because Im very girly, but I think if I were to do my research good, itd be a hybrid, preferrably in the Infiniti or Lincoln family if possible..and I would take navy blue, or pearl white on either model. However what I want most first, is to find a job with possibility of going up and be able to go back to school

1 pointHi!!! Im Itzel, I just turned 27 yesterday. I was brought to the country when I was 3. I got all my education here and graduated from a magnet high school. I did a semester of online college, because it was all I could afford. Im very excited about this Deffered Act too..I'll finally feel normal like everyone else who has these rights.
-
1 pointI agree that lawyers can help, however in my personal opinion they arent ABSOLUTELY necessary. I would hire a lawyer if I felt I would have complications filing for the Deferred Act. If you feel youre in the clear, then I think your money should be utilized for the application fees.
