Hi all. About a month and a half ago, a midst all the deferred action going ons, I decided to make a music video / mini-documentary about what we've been going through. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. So many stories that I went through in order to make the video come together. I hope I did them all justice. Enjoy it!

I just got approved!!! I send mine to Vermont!!! But I didn't get any e-mails or texts from them at all!

Sucks that you ran into such shady people. Im not an attorney but it seems to me that not being approved by the 245i was the best thing that happened to you. This is because in order to qualify for DACA, you have to have no prior legal status. If you had been approved by 245i,and i dont know if that would have given you lawful status, you wouldnt have qualified for DACA. Congrats on qualifying for DACA, its not a permanent solution, but more of a chance and we have all been asking for that. I really think that if you do get approved by DACA, since we still dont receive any type of legal status, you should just do what you can with this opportunity. This is get your ID, DL, a job, maybe go back to school. The 245i seems to me like a boat that sailed away...but Im not a lawyer and your other route would be contacting another lawyer, but an honest one this time. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

another document would be recommendation letter from friends and former employers or people he first met and share the apartment with. Make sure this documented is signed and notarized though... Good luck!!

I agree with Itzel, my application was sent to Vermont and by looking at the approvals so far they have only approved people who got their biometrics done from the 10th and 20th of september. I got my biometrics done on Sep 28 so i estimate my approval will be sometime next Month around the 15 regardless of time we should keep a positive attitude because we are getting approved , so lets just forget about it till next month and stop worrying it is not healthy for the mind or body

Look at the timeline guys. Most approval are from biometrics done around sept 12. Yours still has a bit to go or will eventually come. Dont lose hope.
