    I'm ignorant to the requirements.

pswa83 hit it right on the nail Diego. Pswa83 and I submitted the same day and similar paperwork to the one you have and we did just good. I also only presented a consulate ID and school records, medical records etc...good luck and no question is an ignorant question....

    Calling USCIS

A lot of people are applying now that they see that some have been approved, this has pushed back the approval date for those that have been in the system a while, like Rh_ny, and those that are new, that took their bios at the beginning of October, youve got to be patient...no one is stopping you from calling but all theyll do is read you back your case status and tell you to at least wait 90 days...good luck.

Has anyone checked their credit score using the social security number you got after being approved? If yes, what's your score?

    Finding a job

being honest is a good thing. however, i also believe that the experience that i gained from past jobs, is MY experience. why should i not list it? when making my resume for the job i have now, i listed my past job experiences and if they asked about them, i talked about it. they havent asked about my SSN or EAD. with my resume, i also have letters of reference from my past bosses who knew that i was illegal. those letters really help and also say nothing about me not having a SSN when i worked for them.

Well thank you ladies for all the info. I have everything I need. Just need to make the translation of my birth certificate and pay up. :0) it's finally coming to an end. After 10 years of working with a different name, getting paid bullshit money, and being treated as an "illegal" in every sense of living in the states. NO MAS! Time to fulfill my dreams to the fullest and no looking back. I'm just getting the chills writing this. Everything is possible.

    California id

you need to apply for a SSN, if you already do not have one. You go to the SSA office where you live. Show them your EAD along with your passport or birth certificate. Once you have your SSN, you go to the DMV, and apply for an ID. i applied for the ID the same day i took my permit test and then took my behind the wheel test a week after i got my permit.

    Calling USCIS

You might be, but maybe there were some things that popped up from someone else with a similar name/birthdate. That's the only thing that I can think of that could be delaying some cases because the applications are reviewed as soon as the background/criminal checks are cleared.

My brother is 24 I'm 19 and he got it way before me even though we went to biometrics on the same day. His friends also, older than me got it earlier. So i don't think it has nothing to do with age, I think it depends on the person who gets your case.

    Calling USCIS

Calling in after 90 days will do no good. The Customer Service Representative might let you file a Service Request for your I-765 since it has a processing time of 90 days, but the Service Request will then be reviewed by an officer and it will be denied. The reason is because the 90 day processing time for the I-765 doesn't start until your I-821D is approved, and the I-821D has a processing time of 4-6 months. There's nothing you can do but wait. If you do file a Service Request, an officer will review it, deny it and send you this e-mail or letter in the mail. On 11/15/2012 you, or the designated representative shown below, contacted us about your case. Some of the key information given to us at that time was the following: Caller indicated they are: -- Applicant or Petitioner Attorney Name: -- Information not available Case type: -- I765 Filing date: -- 08/30/2012 Receipt #: -- EAC-12-908-96*** Referral ID: T1D**********VSC Beneficiary (if you filed for someone else): -- Information not available Your USCIS Account Number (A-number): -- ********* Type of service requested: -- Approaching Regulatory Time Frame The status of this service request is: You have filed Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Form I-765 c33 Application for Employment Authorization, which is based on the final adjudication of your I-821D. We have received your request stating that your I-765 application is approaching regulatory time frame. The Service cannot make a final decision on your I-765c33 until after a final decision has been made on your I-821D. The processing time for your I-765 will begin when a final decision is made on your I-821D Form. Unfortunately, agency guidelines do not allow for the expedited processing of Forms I-821D. Therefore, your forms will be processed in the order in which they were received. You should hear something from the Vermont Service Center within 60 days of this notice. If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

Yes, Diego, the more info you provide the better... Also, try organizing your application really well with like manila folders for everything you have to provide evidence for. For example, have one folder with just I.D.'s... one folder for proof of enrollment and graduation from college... one folder for June 15, 2012.... one folder for the past 5 years (document at least every few months) And yes the consular I.D. is perfectly fine, that's what I sent in along with my college i.d. remember to put copies of everything, not originals!! Best of luck!!

im 26 and have been waiting since Oct 1. My other younger friends and their siblings under 21 or/and in school got approved already. We all filed at the same time and with the same lawyer but me and two other (also mid 20s) have not been approved. were still on initial review. im pretty sure the uscis have some kinda of unwritten code they like to follow that makes their jobs easier. i know i do things a certain way and take care of customers that make my job easier

    help!!! :(

did he give you the whole "wait 15 days for a response" thing? i changed my address last month and i'm still waiting for a confirmation letter about it. if it's past 15 days, then you should call again and bug them

Hola Diego!! your do not need to have your passport and your consulate ID should be ok. your birth certificate will need to be translated. google it and you should be able to find a site that will do it for cheap. if you have been here since you were 5, then you should use all your school records. kindergarden to high school. immunization shot records, if you still have them. this will show that you were in the US before your were 16. and after as well. bank statements, any piece of mail with your name and address on it cant also be used. any medical records, lease agreements your parents signed that list you on it. college records can help too. when i sent in my papers, i sent in all my school records, college regristration papers, lease agreements, bank statements, doctors visits, etc. the more paperwork you have the better. hopefully all that helps. ask any other questions you have. good luck!!

    help!!! :(

yes give them a call because lately they are messing up. For example my friend logged in 3 days after his bio appointment and it showed that he was approved then his lawyer called the uscis office and it showed that there was a malfunction on the website that he was still on initial review

i dont think age does matter. i mean i'm 29 and have been approved already. there are a few others who are in the late 20s that have been approved so far as well. your case is process as it is received. it's not put in a pile by age or country of birth or anything like that. it sucks that there is no rhyme or reason to the process and it does suck that it takes so long to get approved. if it's been after 30 days, then you can file an e-request to find out the status of your case. https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do
