    Anyone thought about Advanced Parole?

For those that got accepted or even in the process, have you thought about applying for advanced parole. This means leaving the country for a certain amount of time. I have heard that some people have problems coming back into the united states although I haven't heard if it was fully true or not. Thoughts?

Hello everyone Im new to this

Hello my name is Erika and I'm new to this whole forum thing Im hoping to receive more information and support regarding the deferred action that Obama approved. I found this forum while googling deferred action information and finally decided to join today. I am very impatient so this process is killing me I was very calm at the beginning since I received paperwork immediately after the application was sent but now its just sit down and wait for something to happen. Ive called the USCIS 1800 number twice in the past two weeks and they just say the process can take up to 90 days or 4-6 months which makes me more anxious. I had a bad experience while applying my lawyer lied to me saying he had sent in the paperwork since September 15 and to my surprise when I asked him for a receipt number a month later he had no such thing when I went to his office he was very apologetic about the whole thing saying he had not even started my paperwork so I fired him and the next day he called my mom saying he had the paperwork ready all I needed to do was sign the paperwork. What bugs me the most is that I had recommended him to everyone at school saying he was really good, not very expensive and fast to my surprise he was a loser. Besides that I decided to be patient and stay focused on other things to make the time fly but its not working I currently finished this semester at school and I am now focusing my attention on the mailman and on the USCIS case status which really doesn't help much. Well that's my long story has anyone applied in November? Ive seen most people post a timeline and well here's mine- Date Application Sent: October 30, 2012 Location- Nebraska Mail Method: Express Mail Date Delivered: November 5, 2012 Date Acceptance Letter of Application Received: November 5, 2012 Date of I-797 C Notice of Action: November 5, 2012 Service Center: Nebraska Date of Biometrics: December 5 @ 3:00 RFE Received: Pending Date of EAD Approval: Pending Date of EAD Received: Pending

That's a nice proposition, though you would have to ask for an advanced parole and get it as for work purposes, like many others have said, ask a lawyer and best of lucks.

    Anyone thought about Advanced Parole?

People should proceed with caution regarding Advanced Parole. According to USCIS, Advanced Parole can be granted in 3 circumstances. I quote: '...Generally, USCIS will only grant advance parole if you are traveling for humanitarian purposes, educational purposes, or employment purposes. You may not apply for advance parole unless and until USCIS defers action in your case pursuant to the consideration of deferred action for childhood arrivals process. You cannot apply for advance parole at the same time as you submit your request for consideration of deferred action for childhood arrivals. All advance parole requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis...' Personally, I will only apply for Advanced Parole if my job requires me to travel. Here is the link for the Advanced Parole info: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=3a4dbc4b04499310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=3a4dbc4b04499310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD#travel
