I feel like I'm just soooo close to having everything (a job, a car (drive), travel within the country of course,etc..) but at the same time i feel like it's never going to happen. I just really want to work and drive. Its tough living in CALIFORNIA and not be able to do anything. Do any of you feel like you're not a normal teenager? Or like the rest of your friends? I can't do what they do so easily and I get irritated sometimes. But i'm going to keep praying & hopefully January is my month ! & the month of all those others in Initial Review.

the process starts not after you send in your application but after you've done your biometerics. USCIS does not work on weekends or holidays. so it's only been 24 workdays since your bios. from the general time frames USCIS has put out, 4 to 6 months is the general guideline.

Yeah mostly it depends on service centers, but I have noticed Vermont approves people from other states specially Florida fast but New York :s

It's okay! It's easier in California though. Even if you tell someone that you are undocumented, people are more receptive here than in other states. When I was in high school, I told my closest friends and they did not judge any differently. But I know how it feels not being able to get around or be able to get a permit or a driver license when everyone seems to be getting one as soon as they are able to.. I was angsty about it too as a teenager but you grow out of it! You are almost there. You are lucky to be getting this reprieve when you are teenager. It sucked even more when I had graduated from college and still could not drive or work legally because I felt like every single one of my friends were moving ahead of me and I was stuck in a rut, rather involuntarily!!!... So cheer up!

Fl. Is something else, i was pulled over by a police and they took me to jail, i was there for like three hrs, and it was my first time being pulled over, they searched my vehicle, took me out of the car, handcuffed me and took me in, after telling the officer why i didnt have a license, his eyes got watery, it was awesome how i made him feel like s**t after he took me, then i was bail bonded by my parents, and had to go to court. It was terrible but nothing out of this world! this was last year, and a drunk guy crashed into my old house so i had to leave, while i was going to my new home, is when i got pulled over!!!!! God is good all the time! enough said!!

Who has a job now after DACA?

That's why I can't take most posters seriously... you just have nothing relevant to add to posts while I add constructive criticism... I fear that you may never have any good points to retaliate ; /

Who has a job now after DACA?

When you referred to my being as "kid", that just made your post seem as irrelevant as Tony609's. Yes, I called him a "piece of shit", that's coming from me and I don't swear that often. I do not care if my writting impresses people, I would just like that they'd write it in the same format as mine. Include reasons why you think it was innappropriate, including quotes, the reasoning why to even begin the argument, so on and so forth. It was most obvious you were writting about me, since I was the one to begin the arguement and present all the reasons why poster, Tony609, is an incredibly arrogant being. No. People talk about what they want, in the right places. Keep your absurd beliefs to yourselves if they offend someone. What if we talked about abortions on a thread about illegal immigrants... would that be appropriate? Don't think so. Insulting him? No. I only insulted said poster after another ignorant reply. Being respectful, ok... this thread I was completely giving constructive posts. On the other thread I derailed into my insidious side once or thrice. Just because I am an educated person, that means I can't "get ghetto" once in a while? Who is to say I can't write something in a way that comes out disrespectful just because I am "educated"? No I don't have problems. I believe you are mistaking me for the person your defending, Tony609. Wait...weren't you the one who said I was able to write whatever I pleased a few posts ago... have I changed your mind?

Who has a job now after DACA?

Well, I gotta agree with Fabio on this one. I had also noticed that you seem to complain a lot, after having been approved for DACA. But, I really wasnt going to point it out because I dont see you changing your mind. Did you really expect to be approved for DACA and not have the same resposibilities as the citizens of this country? To get a paycheck and have no taxes deducted? Only in your dreams buddy. They(the citizens) are responsible for paying taxes and following the law...we want to be part of this country so we'll do the same. Im just happy I have a job and even if I pay for taxes, it feels good, I feel normal and a part of society. Im sorry that having been approved for DACA has made you soo unhappy. I do recall that upon applying for DACA some of the guidelines on the USCIS website were that our travel outside the country would be limited or not even available. If being approved for DACA makes you soo unhappy, Im sure you can let it expire and not apply again or you can ASAP go to the country you feel would meet all the qualifications. Good luck.

    waiting too long?

Many people are right... I have been waiting since Sep 13th, the day of my bios. I have called a couple of times, and even reached the next level of customer service. I was told that everything was in order, and that I just needed to wait. Also, I mentioned that I couldn't check my status online and they told me that I would not be able do it. Bottom line: all we can do is wait. But whenever we get it, we gon' be like:
