came across this article today and think it's completely stupid considering that they want who ever reads it to believe that this is true. there is ONLY a 2 month overlay from the time DACA started. thought anyone?? http://cis.org/north/new-uscis-data-show-how-daca-delays-decisions-other-programs

Hello everyone I wanted to start a thread to disuss processing times for applications routed to Nebraska. If you could post when you subitted your application, any problems your facing. When people look at this thread it should give people some more insight on what to expect and long it should take on average. I copied the idea from the other forums

Congratulations!! You should ask MOE if he could include your timeline on the list of approvals so people can see how RFEs might work.

How Many Of You Guys Pay A Lawyer?

i believe its just whoever gets your application. if you get some lazy worker your out of luck but if your lucky and get a very relaxed and chill back worker who just is breezing through applications then your in luck.

I've thought of that too!! We'll be perfectly fine with our license and something within us will still jump every time we see a cop behind us. Ugh

Divoced! How To ? In California

found this website. think it will help. looks pretty simple to understand. http://www.courts.ca...elp-divorce.htm also if you go down to the court house, sometime they have free legal aid on certain days or certain times of the money that will help with either filing of the paperwork or other stuff.

Did you sign up for the notification by email and text as well? I had received my receipt within 1-2 weeks after sending my application.. (see my signature for exact dates..) Check your email too if you had signed up for the notification (check spam mail folder and everything!) If you have the email, they give you a receipt number in it and from there you can put that number on USCIS website to check your status.. Also, if you hadn't received anything in the mail or email, check if your payment has been received (hopefully you paid with a check? then the status of whether it was received or not would show up in your statement..). Regardless, you should just call USCIS and ask, it is really late. You should have gotten your notice for biometrics already.

Every state is different, let alone each institution. You should really look into the opportunities that Pswa mentioned regarding Financial Aid for Dreamers in Cali... Take advantage of everything and get educated!

Are My Parents The Only Ones?

You still young little lady but let me tell you this, If you date someone for their financial status then tell what it is that you feel for that individual ? is it love? I doubt it! However, you should not let anyone not even your parents to control your heart or your emotions. Yes you will not be with someone who doesn't have a life, but what happen if that individual is trying to be someone in life, trying to fulfill his dreams, working hard and putting passion in what his doing because one day he will reach his dreams. Question: Will you be with someone like this? or Will you be with someone who has tons of money and treat you like a toy? In other words, go for those who dream big and have goals, go for the good men no matter how bad his financial status is because in the end what is more valuable is the way he will treat you. "Every woman deserves a man who loves and respects her and every man deserves a woman who appreciate his efforts". Hope you take this in mind.

I've been stopped driving in NY but never got in trouble, every time they just asked for someone with a valid drivers license to pick the car up. Not even a single ticket mayb I was just lucky, but fuuuuck the feeling of being stopped, I felt I committed the worse crime possible. I wounder if when I get my license will I still have that scared feeling I had every time I saw a cop its just Cus im used to not having one.

Are My Parents The Only Ones?

It's amazing that we all think alike. After reading all of your replies I do agree. It does make sense. I work at a Mexican restaurant and I meet sooo many people. Some have asked out on dates, and I've accepted. For instance, this guy stood out the most. Okay he was born here. However... He doesn't speak English because he spent moat of his live in Mexico. He's 19, like me. And he doesn't go to school. (This blows me! You have so many opportunities and you don't take advatage of it!) And thirdly he doesn't even work. His dad owns multiple restaurants so he just gets money from that. It's not always about legal.status, its about bettering yourself. Like what could he offer me? Nothing.

    california dream act question

If I am informed correctly, the calgrant is only available for 2 years so use it wisely. Personal advice, or at least what I plan to do, as a community college student I will apply for the 2013-2014 application. This way the cal grant will help me when I am at a CSU/UC. I assume that the financial assistance will be greater at those levels. I'd rather struggle paying for community college which now should be easier especially with the CA Bog Waiver. And Tavo is correct. The online application for the 2013-2014 academic year does not open up until January 14. However, you can download the paper application and mail it as of today. And if you look around the website "http://www.csac.ca.gov/dream_act.asp" you will see that you can begin the 2012-2013 application. Note: 2012-2013. I am assuming that the applciation would be for the concurrent academic year. But as you know, we have already completed one semester, so I don't know if that would count as a year. I would recommend watching this video " Its regarding the CA Dream Act. Its kind of long, but there is some good information.
