Hi I am Alejandra

I never got to introduce myself, so here is me in a little nutshell. I was brought to the United States when I was 9 which means 9 years and 8 months ago. I never wanted to leave the country I only knew, but I had to since we came following my dad because he was already here. I always had that anger towards my mom and would always blame it on them that if I was in mexico I could still have everything I dont have here(stuff that depends on your immigration status) but I got over it and I am thankful now. I am a middle child and the one who took the longest when it came to learning English. After 3 years I got the hang of it. I went on to school and during my senior year I was the only undocumented student in my class it was hard at times but nothing was impossible. When it came time to graduate everybody was planning the big "senior trip" which was to go to the bahamas. My friends knew about my situation but to make me happy and to be together we decided to go to Florida. Story short- I got a scholarship which is full ride even with obstacles and my status in the US. The day I was approved I felt so relief and humble and happy at the same time. Not everybody gets this opportunity. My goals for now are to enroll in college and be a psychiatrist or forensics pathologist. -
2 pointsAllow me to contribute - The title is 'Jodida Pero Contenta' - which basically means (and kindly excuse my French) 'Fucked Up but Happy.' It basically represents my situation right now (waiting for frickin Nebraska)... Indulge your ears!

1 point19 days after biometrics, uncommon names, clear history in the US. lol no secret.
-
1 pointI also came to the US on a Visa which expired in 2001 and I was approved in 19 days. There are no other path to legalize our status as far as I'm aware.

1 pointok, this is the song that plays when i'm in the car. something about it gets me going.
-
1 pointI came on a B2 Visa. There is no other immigration option for me besides AOS through marriage. I applied for DACA and my processing time was 99 days from date of delivery to date of approval.

Long Name
roadrunner11 reacted to JoseG for a post in a topic
I tried leaving out my second last name on the SSN application buy the guy said that I had to write it down how it's shown on my EAD. I asked him about the middle name and he said I could leave that out but that it might create some problems or confusion down the road so I just left it like that. -

Long Name

Hey I had a problem fitting all my names and last names so the person at the DMV explained to me that even if you shorten your name which I had to do, your legal name is the one on your SSN. On my DL I only have my name and two last names but at work I have to go by my name middle initial and two last names. If you wish to drop your mother's maiden name you need to do it legally. -

I was surprised I liked this hit. I am not a big fan of music like this. But I am glad I heard it. -

I sent mine to the AZ lock boxs which I think maybe flooded with applications considering there are a lot of Hispanics in Cali :/ even more so now that Obama got reelected( thank baby jesus xD) anywho! keep your hopes up peeps!!! I know I am <3 Wish you all the best of luck and if i happen to get lucky this week I shall let you all know!! -

I went online, and printed all my statements for each month since April 17 2007 to 2012, and was like over 200 pages! so i only printed 2 pages per month. I also included receipts from court payments i made from late 2005 to late 2006. I sent my cars contract i signed when i bought it on 2008,(im still paying it cost me $28,000!) i couldnt get my receipts for the payments i made every month cause dealer always said they did and never got nothing on fax! and i skipped that instead.. i also sent receipts of money i sent to mexico.. since 2008 till 2011, i sent my car insurance policy(call them and get ur receipts for each month u have paid *better, but they sent me a letter saying my name was active with them since 2010 to present) i went online and printed my electric bill history payment from 2009 to 2011, i printed online receipts from staff i bought on QVC.com from 2010 and 2011. A letter that had the date stamped on the corner . Thats pretty much it... hope it gives you ideas. It was long the Wait! they first received my applications on 08/24, biometrics on 10/02, RFE letter on 12/14, Responded to RFE on 12/27, RFE received 12/28,, then boom! Jan 8!! Approved! whoooojoo! it all depends on the service center you have and how fast they are working. remember that only business days count not weekends or holidays. if you did your bios on nov 19 then it has only been 35 business days since then. i would just be patient, i know it's hard, but honestly there's not much you can do except wait. -

Who has a job now after DACA?
stolenlacs reacted to Aled for a post in a topic
Okay kid, first, I don't need you to teach me about differences about anything. Thank you very much you don't impress me. Second, when I said attacking I was referring to you. Just because you don't like the way he thinks or what he says even if you're against it you don't have the right to insult him. You called him a piece of shit? If you look at others topics in here, people talk about whatever they want randomly. You mad kid, how about you start making your points by being respectful in the first place. An educated person doesn't need to insult people. If someone is ignorant you simply ignore them, you can't change people. You got problems. You're in the wrong forum. I have seen many posts, many things that have been said here. Just because I don't like the way they think it doesn't mean I can go ahead and insult them.
