Let me just say that I knew my case was gonna get screwed up some how.Last night I received a letter to take my bios.Well the thing is I already took them on NOV 9 it was a walk in.My appointment was Nov 30.So I called USCIS this morning and I guess I just have to retake them because something went wrong.So here I am guys 54 days after my bios and now I have to start all ove.I was half way there well at least I thought.Trying to rely on my faith but all I can think off is "why me lord"? Pray for me peoples please.

Hi I have already been approved recently but as I am reading I wasn't aware you could just go and walk-in before your biometrics appointment. I thought you had to wait but I guess a lot of people have just walk-in and for future notice for other people I was wondering how is that you can do that? You just go and tell them you want to take the biometrics? And is it like that in every state?

Hi I am from Cali and I recently got approved and I was wondering how long did it take for you guys to receive it in the mail after you were approved? And how long is the SSN taking to arrive also? And when you go to the office do they assign you a number right away or you find out till you get the SSN card in the mail? Thanks

I hear you. same here this waiting game is ridiculous.. I sent my application on sep.17th they received on sep. 20th and I had my bios Oct. 20th and nothing sense..

Dont worry youll get approved soon, so far all the people that got biometrics done in october are getting approved just now, so dont worry i know it sucks and everybody tells you to keep your head up and staff like that, what i can tell you is, you can either let it be and wait till you get the letter in the mail, or you can check you status every 2 weeks not everyday because thinking about it constantly is gonna make you sick, so just try to keep your mind occupied.

This totally sucks I feel horrible for those who haven't heard back since SEP. aldkfjal I HATE waiting for anything! I'm slowly starting to worry that something happened >.< ! I want to call them and see what's up because I haven't heard anything since my Bios on Nov 19th D: I'm just ready to get my life started and I know i haven't done anything wrong EVER my whole life and this just sucks. -____-

Geez. This waiting game is beyond frustrading. As I've mentioned before I sent my application on sep. 18th they received it sep. 20th.. Had my bios on Oct. 17th and haven't heared anything since. like many of you I'm just ready to start my life and work and be happy. I need some inspiration.

File using your SSN, your ITIN can no longer be used after you obtained the SSN. You are required by law to send a letter to the IRS notifying them of your new SSN, and for them to rescind your ITIN. So if I were you, I would go to every place where you are using an ITIN and request it to be changed to the SSN. I worked in 2012 using a fake ssn and filed the federal and state taxes using my real SSN, I was already approved and refund (so happy) is on the way.
