I know, and it is so hard because you don't want to do the wrong thing by applying for a job with documentation that is illegal now that you know you have something coming. It is just impossible to keep your head straight sometimes, it is like being up on a wall, and you don't know how long to hang on. Fortunately, I have my husband to support me, but you have school, and you are trying to do the right thing, and I feel like people are just not considerate of how much certain applicants needs this to make their lives right. Especially if you are in school. Best of luck to us all. Yours probably won't be more than a month. I am praying for everyone.

Doing your taxes if you're DACA approved

If anyone claims their tuition on their taxes it will be on a Form 8863. This form has been added to a list of delayed forms by the IRS. Meaning you cant submit your forms until mid-February. If you filed online with an outfit like TurboTax, TaxAct, etc..they will hold your forms until the IRS announces the date to accept this form.

    Still Waiting

His documents might be in the desk of someone who works slower than the rest or something came up with his background record. He will have to be patient as every case is different, no matter if you live all in the same house or belong to the same family

so i have a question.... or maybe a few. So, two days ago i checked my status online . it said i was approved for DACA. it also said a letter had been mailed to my house on the 9th. does that mean i will be getting my work permit in the mail soon? or is it just a letter confirming my approval and i will have to wait for the actual work permit to arrive separately? how more long more will it take then? also, anyone in here from Chicago, IL? i want to know what documents (besides your EAD & birth certificate) did u take to go get your Your DL? i will appreciated so much if someone can help me out!
