This is such bullshit. $ months later? wow. I am kind of expecting an RFE too now, with the amount I have seen in the last few weeks here I am worried. You miss proof for 5 months in the paperwork and they go crazy, like, where were you during that time, stealing, making money, how? Jeez, but you are right, at least it shows someone looked at your file and gave a shit. I am almost begging for that too. But it will be quick after you send something else. Good luck.

Come on guys, it's not that difficult. That message means that there will be a 30-45 day delay from the time the lockbox receives your application to the time you will be able to view your status online. It won't affect knowing whether you're application is approved or not since your status doesn't change during the first 30-45 days when you first file your application. This message is for those who have just recently filed their application and can't see their status online yet.

That way you don't have to keep checking everyday to see if there's an update.

I know someone who sent their application on August 21 and just got approved yesterday. You're decision will come sooner than later.

seems like CA is slowing the approval rate as of late.

It's an ID from the Mexican states but issued by the Mexican council here in the US, if it is nessesary then I'm screwed because in order to get it you need a government issued photo ID, how the hell can I have something issued by the US if I've never been legal here?

oh cool then definitely apply for the BOG fee waiver, I'm only taking one class this semester and it covered the full amount for the class ( does not pay for fees such as health fees and etc) my class was $280 I believe so I'm sure it will cover the cost of your two classes

they just gonna say huhhh could you wait between 6 to 8 months, and if you dont hear back from us just keep waiting. uscis has such a crappy service and lazy employees that dont know sh1t,

that sucks!!! I'd call them after 3 months ><! If mine doesn't come in the next two weeks i'm going to call them because this is crap!

i believe its just whoever gets your application. if you get some lazy worker your out of luck but if your lucky and get a very relaxed and chill back worker who just is breezing through applications then your in luck.
