It is called lucid dreaming. It can happen to anyone and it has been studied by psychology several times. I also have similar dreams where I know something bad is going to happen so I can control the rest of my dream. I don't think it is witchcraft or voodoo haha. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream I mean if it keeps happening and some weird stuff start happening around your house then yeah that is just weird but for the most part lucid dreaming is just the brain being aware of what you are dreaming. -

Passed The 6 Month Waiting Time
Fresita22 gave a reaction for a post in a topic
Date Application mailed - August 15, 2012 Date Application accepted - August 17, 2012 Service Center Application was sent to- Nebraska Service Center Date of Biometrics Appointment- September 22, 2012 Date of DACA and EAD approval- PENDING So it has been 6 months from the day I applied, today February 19th I called USCIS (English ext: 12016, Spanish ext: 22016) and they send a service request to the jurisdiction that is handling my case (Nebraska), which I have to wait 15 days for me to get a response from them, not about approval for EAD or DACA but regarding of why my case taking so long, when I asked the representative whats is the waiting time now?, or there isn't any?, she said : " well is case by case therefore it could take longer than expected" so i asked again , "is there a waiting time?", she said " just follow the instruction on the service request that i have just done for you". so is clear to me that there is not a waiting time it is BS that they keep saying 4 to 6 months I seen enough people on this forum that are waiting for 6 months and perhaps there are those who are NOT in this forum and still went pass the "6 month waiting time" and i dont expect to be believed but when i call they treat you with this rude tone of voice, or as my last call they sounded as if they were slacking off with a will to work but thats just me as it is now I have to wait 15 more days for a response of why my case taking long not even for an approval -

From what I have read on other forms, you most probably are going to get the same msg telling you, it will take few more months to finalize your approval. I had high hopes that I would get a concrete response but it seems like we're going to hit a wall with the service request. I really don't understand why but it is what it is man. -

I'd like to add witchcraft - I have heard similar stories from people that were actually attacked by witches in farming towns back in Colombia or even here in the US...do not discard witchcraft...voodoo and santeria are done constantly here in Miami, and witchcraft is prevalent in latin america. Just thought I could share this... http://www.womenofgrace.com/blog/?p=11830 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2119045/Two-human-fetuses-used-voodoo-ritual-luggage-Miami-airport.html -

I Need Some Help With My Rfe
roadrunner11 reacted to Santi for a post in a topic
Hey JD - If I understand correctly, USCIS wants you to prove that you have no previous record, and if you did, that it was lost or disappeared for whatever reason. Also, they want to see that the request was made through your local government (a court), and that it was notarized, signed and sealed. (If I am mistaken, please feel free to add info as you see fit). If I were in your position, I would get a background check from the county courts were you have lived (if more than one place). The cost is somewhere around $20 per background check- could be less, depending on the amount of information that is provided. Do not rush it...take your time. That way, you can avoid making silly mistakes that can prolong the process of acquiring the information before you send it to USCIS for further review. You should have a window of about 2-3 months to submit your RFE, so be patient. Before you send your stuff, I would strongly advise you to get a second opinion from a qualified individual (read - attorney). Yes, the small consultation can put a dent in your finances, but look at it as an investment in your future. It is better to spend some money now and feel confident that you will get the approval, than putting together an incomplete package and being denied DACA (which is somewhat unlikely, if you put yourself in the presence of God). Hope this helps, and in no way am I qualified to give you legal advice - I just had a similar experience, and I had the luck of finding my information, so I could put together the package myself and ensure my approval. I wish you success and keep us posted! -

Deferred Action Taking Too Long
Gezinha gave a reaction for a post in a topic
same here and not only that but i grad last year in august and i thought i would be able to get this thru in 3 months waiting time, I applied to multiple companies sending my resume and when they called for phone interview or regular interview, they always asked for my SSN , once i say am waitng on it they reply "well we keep ur profile call us when u have it" a nice way of saying... we cant take you... it is really frustrating cuz to me the only reason why they taking long is either they busy making Harlem Shake videos or busy watching la novela... >.> because as much as they say " we have a lot of cases " an background check doesnt take 6 months as is in my case....unless they waiting for me to commit a crime to then bitch about it and feed their ego idk... am as frustrated pissed off impatient sad of how poorly how extremly poorly they handle this cases. -
1 pointOkay, so today is oficillay 3 months since I took my bios on November 15th. And 4 months since I sent mt application. I wish someone had told me "Angelina, it will take 5 months, at least, do not go crazy and quit your job for another one without your stuff in hand!" haha Yeah, damn it, now I am home, bored, cannot apply for a job because I don't want to make my situation worse because I don't know how a background check works, oh heavens!!! I feel worse for the people who are waiting even longer, I am lucky I am fine, I have money saved, but for those who don't only God can help. I hope they get approved faster than me. I can wait another month, I wish I didn't have to though. I wanna go to schooooool! Sorry guys, just venting, rating, bored to death!!! Well, hopefully by summer everyone who applied has been approved and we can make a contribuiton to the country and get on the path to making all our lives better.
