    Help!! Daca Update

First time I've seen that. It usually tells you if you were approved or denied. Mine said, "Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity On December 14, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I821D Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations." Maybe it differs from each Service Center or person processing your application. You're going to have to wait until the letter arrives to know the decision I guess.

    License With Biometrics???

It is highly unlikely they will be granting anything like that with just the bio papers. When they send you the bio papers in the beginning, it even says on it that it is not proof of acceptance, approval or legal status. I wish they would accept it though.

    Check Your DACA Case Status

Whenever you call USCIS for a Service Request, they go off of your Received Date. That's the date they received your application at the lockbox, it's on your Receipt letters.

    Rfe

Well, if they're asking for a marriage license then that's shouldn't be much of a problem considering if you have it, some RFE's can be rather demanding. But please let us know what they're asking for once the letter arrives.

Passed The 6 Month Waiting Time

Just wanted to add that they start counting from when they take your Biometrics, not when you first applied... So keep that in mind. Also, I guess the September bios are starting to get approvals. I did my bios on Sep 14th, and I got accepted last week. Therefore, approvals are coming...you have waited so long, what's a couple of weeks? Check this post, so you can see how long you have really waited.

How can it be a bad thing? they can't take any action against you... If you are calling, call both the national hotline, as well as the local satellite office in the Hammocks...you'll be alright - at least they are making progress and moving things along! you better like my comments!

Ok - Five years from now, I'd be 32, and I would like to have accomplished the following: Finished my MBA from my top choice school Getting my dream job as an associate in a major investment bank in New York On the road to being promoted to VP of Natural Resources/Energy Team Found the girl of my life and working to get child #1 of ~10! Well traveled and seasoned Not having to worry about my legal status That's about it for my 5 year plan... Basically, feel like this:
