I finally got my DACA and EAD approved today since my acceptance in September! Thanks for all your help people...and for my fellow Vermont-ers, let's keep the hope alive. They're crazy slow, but they're moving

    Whats Up?!

I wanted to introduce myself, My name is Andrei I came to the States in 1990 from philippines because I needed an open heart surgery and I was accepted by St. Judes to have that operation, I ended up permantely staying my visit after my mom realized we had a better opportunity over here. I was given an artifical heart valve and have to take blood thinners or (anticougulants) for life every 2 weeks I get a blood test to see the level of my blood if its too low I form blood clots with raises the risk of a stroke, which actually happened to me last year. I was paralyzed completely from the right side and took me months to recover. Having the opportunity to change my life with the deffered actions act is a dream come true for me. All my life I've wanted to get a good job to take care of my family since I'm almost done with college and now I have the chance to. I'm really hoping the process is as quick as possible so I can try to help my mother with our financial problems, she unfortunately was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago and she's been battling it ever since I'm just praying one day I we can finally rid ourselves from all of these bills and problems and live the way she pictured us living.

    I Already Have A Social

you number will not change, however, what will change is what the SSN card will say on the bottom. it will change from "Not Valid for Employment" to “VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION.” also, when one becomes a PR, none of those terms will appear on the SSN card. it will look just like everyone else's SSN who is a USC.

    I Already Have A Social

Yes, your SSN won't change at all. Once you obtain a SSN from SSA, you have that number for a life time, no matter how long ago you received it. The most important thing to note is that it would have "NOT Valid for work" eshi on the card until you become naturalized citizen.

    Daca Not Approved

That's also the problem, why sign legal documents before reviewing them. No one knows you better than your own self to make changes to the application(s). =/

    Daca Not Approved

It depends. If you have massive criminal record and USCIS finds you to be a public safety treat or national security treat , they would report you to ICE once they deny your application. On the other hand, for some odd reason they deny your app - just like these 2 ppl http://tinyurl.com/bukzhta - they will just issue you a denial letter, that would explain why they denied you. In all case scenario, If you have clean record or minor misdemeanor charges and satisfy DACA requirements, you shouldn't be pulling your hair because they are taking longer than the expected wait period. Relax and keep calm, our approval would come soon.
