    Absolutely Great...rfe

This is absolutely reidiculous..nearly 6 months months in, after my case is fucking transfered across the country, I get an RFE. I am just too pissed about this. I can't send anything else other than what I have sent. These people have to be the most irresponsible, stupid, lazy and arrogant human beings to work in an office. Like I said on another post, the cases sit there for months, because my case has been in initial review for 4 months now, and only almost 6 months later I get an RFE?? Fuck this! Don't put shit on initial review if you don't have opened the file for anything else other than to take the damn money order out! Idiots!

    Checkpoint, Help!

She doesn't have to say anything unless asked and if she is not a USC then the answer would be easy.. temporary resident and show them the approval daca letter. Then they will ask for identification and who knows what else.

Foreign Passports No Good As Id

@freindscene: What part of the Bay are you from? And of course you're well aware of the diversity. I used to also walk in last after my friends then I just stopped caring, now I usually am the one leading the group. I came to the conclusion that I'm not affecting nor am I doing anything wrong by presenting a valid form of ID, especially since I'm far from shady, seedy, leery looking or have a negative demeanor so there's no need to be questioned whatsoever. I've never been questioned by any of my friends, co-workers, acquaintances, etc. Usually when asked where I'm from I'm straightforward and say I was born in Mexico, been living permanently in the states since 91, and the conversation usually ends there or we chat about the Mexican state I'm from and other places the question asker has been to, etc. As an added tidbit I'm also a part Chinese. It appears there was a Chinese migration in the mid 1950s to Mexico and Chinese blood flows on my Dad's maternal side of the family.

That sucks Gezinha , I hope that this doesn't happen to me since I've been waiting for almost 6 months since I sent the application. It would be ridiculous if they did since I sent a lot of proof. Anyway good luck with your RFE and you'll get approved!

Hey man..try getting statements for each month front page only. Thats what i did. Statements from 2007 only front page of each statement cost me $200. Completed statements would of cost me $2000.00.

Gezinha, I don't know if this would help but here it goes ... If you went to college or university, you can use your enrollment verification as evidence. It is called National Student Clearinghouse, it is a huge database that consists your info and your degree enrollment/verification. If you have any type store cards, for example CVS,Safe Way, Giant, rite aid etc ... and you used it to make purchases at any time, you could call the companies corporate office to get your purchase history. I know for fact CVS keeps all its customers purchase history in some type of database because I use to work for them, and we used to tell customers who wants to get reimbursed for their medical related purchases from their health insurance company. If they say no, make sure you insist or ask them to escalate the call to upper managements. You have lots other options as well. Don't let the RFE discourage you. Good luck

I've had a WA DL, so I never had a problem. Some places give you more trouble than others, overall I think you get more s*%t with the matricula tho Once I went to this club with my bf 'n some friends, the bouncer ask my friend "why don't you have a DL?" My bf cuts him off a very politely says "Excuse me, last time I checked you are not Homeland Security,so are you going to let us in or not?" The bouncer handed the passport to my friend 'n took my bf license lol

A Chase branch was trying to charge me $10/per statement,so I went to the one by my house and the girl was like "yeah no problem it will be a minute, BTW you can also print a verification on line" To tell you the truth I would had paid if necessary, DACA is an opportunity I wasn't willing to lose. Good luck! Maybe they messed up on the status, you know how some people have gotten the RFE status change 'n they don't get the actual RFE...either way I'm sure you'll get approved soon

What's the name of the bank? I asked for a letter to the manager of Bank of America and he said they are not authorized to do such thing and even if they did it would not be valid for any immigration process. It is unfair how banks charge for statements, but if you have had the same account then you have access to old statements online. I understand the frustration, but you knew very well the process would not be easy and fast.. please keep us updated!

    Daca Not Approved

People with no lawful status or better yet no drivers license should not be operating motor vehicles. I'm 26 years old and I've been in this country since I was 14. While I've been here I have never operated a vehicle at all, yes, its super embarrassing that a 26 year old man doesn't know how to drive but It helped me stay out of trouble. I have my learners permit now and I'm doing pretty good so far, I should be able to go for my road test pretty soon. If you have no lawful status, don't build a bad record on top of that!

    Forms For Traveling

I highly advice that you don't travel outside the U.S. yet, especially if you're a DACA recipient with an over-stayed visa record.

That's also the problem, why sign legal documents before reviewing them. No one knows you better than your own self to make changes to the application(s). =/

Best Credit Cards To Apply For After Daca

You can lease a car even if you have no credit, but they will probably charge you more than the car is worth with a hefty down payment, but there are a lot of options available for people with no credit who want to lease a car. The bottom line is, dealerships have a lot of cars to sell but not as many buyers and they will find a way to sell you a car. And by the way, a No credit is NOT equal to bad credit, that's the myth some people try to spread around, its much better having no credit than having a bad credit.

    Dreamer Travels To Puerto Rico

Well like I said, if you were to come in contact with CBP, you just have to prove your Legal Presence. That's something that can be easily done with your EAD and DACA approval letter. I don't see it any different than if we were to come in contact with Immigration within the U.S. You won't be stepping on foreign soil or port of entry. That's why U.S. Citizens and LPRs don't need Passports. In my opinion, there isn't much of a risk, but like you said, it's up to whoever is traveling whether they think it is or not. Here is another person who said they recently traveled to Puerto Rico.

    Rfe Service Request

BTW 13 years ago my bf was detained because he was out after curfew, was taken in for finger prints and picture, was picked up by mom one hr. later and was told he had to do community service...he tried closing the record like you said, but there was nothing under his name at all, but still shows when bios are done! Rfe Service Request

Calidreamer Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! I was just reading your previous posts about your bf's RFE going to his attorney and the light bulb went on! I called them yesterday but the attorney was in court and the secretary wasn't there i told them to call me ASAP but they didn't! So after seeing your post I decided to call them again and BAM! They told me they received it on Saturday or monday!! It bothers me that they didn't let me know! But right now I need to work on getting the evidence together! So here is what happened the week that they sent the packet some idiot crashed into me!! Some people don't pay attention when changing lanes! So we called the police so we can do an insurance claim from there everything went downhill because obviously I don't have a drivers license I called my bf before the police came so they wouldn't take my car! But when the police knew I didn't have a license he put whatever he wanted on the police report he stated that it was my fault that I crashed into the car!!! There were cameras at that corner I wanted to take them to court soooo bad but I knew that I would only lose my time doing that! He gave me a ticket and sent me to court! When I went to court they sent me to get processed and there they took my finger prints and picture! Then I paid $350 and case closed! Now I need to go to the court house to get a certified court disposition! I'm going to send that and also the ticket, public defender info, diversion program paper which i paid 300 for so that in 2 yours they will take that charge from my record unless I get another charge, receipt of payment and I'm also thinking of sending the police report even though the police clearly lied! Sorry that its so long!
