I just got done speaking with a level 2 officer at USCIS , n he told me I should have and answer by April 10th . Since they received my RFE on January 25th . He also said my background is cleared n everything looks good so far. Just someone is working on my case. I hope I get approved

Today I received a text stating that my case has been updated. When I checked the only one that was updated was the I-765 stating that they ordered the production of my new card. I believe that I'm approved right??? The other one is still stating that they received my evidence on march 18th!!

I can't help feeling like this! It's been barely a month since I got the biometrics done, but I feel like it's been already too long! I can't stop feeling disappointed everytime I check my email and that none of the msgs are from USCIS :/ and the fact that my case never shows up on the website it's getting on my nerves! Makes everything worse! Anyone else feeling like this? Please tell me Im not the only one! (because Im almost completely sure I am not alone)

I got approved on march 22 but the problem is that I move 3 weeks ago I told my lawyer but she didn't reprt that to uscis. I thought she did until I call uscis so I told them my new adress but they say it was delivered already so now idk what to do or what's going to happen :/

Good luck to you and you should hear something by April 7th which is 15 business days...if not you should call again and request to speak to a level 2 officer, that's what I'd do..

Thank you perla n I will most def, take that as advice n I will just be patient n just wait like u said patience is our best friend. I been waiting for years for something like this, a couple of months or weeks won't hurt me. Thank you for the support n I will keep u posted On everything .

I'm so happy for u Perla, Im still from my RFE respond since they received it on January 25. It's been two months n 1. Week so far since they received it. I talk to a USCIS level 2 officer n he told me I should i have a respond by April 10. I hope I get approved soon

It happened to me! !! They updated my status to a REF that I never received. .when we contacted immigration they said that disregard the update. .6 weeks ago and im still waiting! ! 7months since I apply for DACA

You don't just move knowing damn well that you're waiting for important documents. Before you even started packing your stuff to move to a new place, you should of made sure that this is taken care off. You have to be on top of things, don't just wait for some lawyer to take care of it. I don't mean to sound like your father... but seriously!! What you should do now is try to reach out to the new tenants or owners and find out if they've received your mail.

I sent a couple of PayPal transactions, the ones that show the transaction date 'n you name, my bf did too. Try getting a hold of these before you think in paying for anything else.Good luck

Why did you do that? I don't think your application will be declined but you shouldn't have put any fake SSN on that application unless that number was issued to you by the Social Security Administration. I don't mean to be so harsh on you, but didn't you read all the important updates and Q&A on the USCIS website? The good thing is probably nothing might happen but I'm not sure. I do know several people who've made this mistake and some of them have been approved, but every-case is different, so hope for the best.

It seems to me like you haven't received your RFE letter yet, so you pretty much don't know what exactly they're re-guesting. I would just suggest that you wait for the letter to arrive before you start spending your money on those statements. They might just want to see evidence for specific months or they might what to see something else. Just calm down, don't stressed yourself out. At least now you have a sense of where your case is heading.

I think it was Serg4u who sent his W2s a prof, I'm not sure tho, but I know someone from here did. You could file your taxes from previous years and present them, my friend did that. Do you have an ITIN?

And USCIS didnt tell you what steps to follow? Did you see the tracking # on your status? Can you track it 'n find out if it has been delivered?

When I called to do a service request, I was told I was a day early and to call back. I wasn't satisfied with the explanation that I got from the first level call center rep so I asked to be transferred to a case officer (lol according to the women I was speaking to, she wrote down something saying I insisted). The next case officer I spoke with looked up my case status and advised me not to do a service request because my case is with an immigration case officer and to give them 45 days to respond back. She even told me my background check has cleared around feb. 20 and my case has been with a case officer ever since. So, I waited and I got approved after 39 days later. The second level officer I spoke with was very nice and my guess is that she had a good day that day or something, because I didn't think she would go in detail regarding my case and give me the info. From the looks of it, I think a different person form USCIS checks your case on the workload system they got and responds back to service requests.

I thought a police officer cant give you a ticket if he didn't actually pull u over or wasn't present for anything accident ect.
