Most people get their I-765 approved first, which means that the I-821D is surely to be approved since you don't qualify for an EAD without DACA. In this case, your I-821D was approved first and you already got the approval letter in the mail, which can only mean that for some reason your I-765 needs further review. USCIS has a 90 day processing time for the I-765. You're going to have to wait until you hear a response.

yeah like they said there is no need to wait my sister got her EAD and the next she went to apply for SSN and in 5 days she got her social so i think u will be okay

No need to wait, that was at the beginning when the operators at the ssn center were not familiar with the process. You can go the next day if wanted.

yes wait 10, days btw you get your work permit. 7 to 8 days have passed. it just sucks waiting in as a walk in, for them to just tell you to come back. i was a walk in 3 times and all those times i waited more than a hour. good luck

Most people have mentioned that due to waiting for SS administration having to sync/update their records accordingly wiht USCIS. I think if you wait at least 3 that should be enough. I only waited 2 days, but it was because I already had a SS#, it just said NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT and all I had to do was a get a new card with that restriction take off, but still got to keep my same #. Ok, first of all you have to accept that it was your fault, they may had provoked you, but you fell for it. Can you acknowledge that? Second, everything we do has consequences and now more than ever you have to keep your mind cool! (facepalm) Regardless of whether this was your fault or not, it is almost impossible for anyone here to give you answers on any possible outcome from USCIS. Best thing you can do is to get yourself a lawyer that can clear things out for you on this misdemeanor matter. A good advice for people that are currently waiting for approval is to avoid any possible situation that can potentially lead you into trouble. USCIS doesn't care whether you can prove to them if its your fault or not, they can assume anything out of you and simply deny your application.
