It Has Taken Almost Eight Months.

Your approval will happen - Many factors come into play when reviewing applications. Here are some assumptions and facts: USCIS is not reviewing applications on a first come, first served basis Perhaps, some applications/individuals are easier to approve, due to background screenings, etc Remember that USCIS is also revewing other cases, in addition to DACA - think of it as having a bunch of piles, and then DACA is added on top of the piles The increased number of new applicants has decreased the turnover rates of many Service Centers My assumption is that some Service Centers are experiencing a high level of applications, and therefore are re-routing applications either to other Service Centers or Local USCIS satellite offices (It has happened before - Cal to Nebraska, Vermont to Nebraska, Vermont to Local Office, etc) (If anyone has any rebuttals to the above statements, please correct me where I was mistaken) Therefore, wait patiently...I know it is hard, and it is even harder when you know/have heard of someone getting approved 2 months, let alone two weeks, since their biometrics were taken...but it will happen...either you get an RFE, or the approval, but you will eventually hear from them...I hope you get the latter and not the former! Try to avoid checking your case status every. single. day., and keep your mind busy...it will come as a surprise, but you will be glad it happened... They received my App on Aug 16, had Bios on Sep 14th, and was approved this past Feb 14th...I was in your same boat...therefore, it will eventually happen...Trust me

    Must See!!

meh, honestly, it doesnt really bother me, just because i know that when i go to the hospital NO ONE pays my bill but ME. i have never gotten "free" health care. not even when my mom was on public assistance when we were younger. WHY?? because i didnt have a SSN and they wouldnt give me any benefits. how true this story is and to what degree would be very interesting. i could probably make up a story of some off the wall topic and there are going to be people out there that will be believe it.

It is really stressful! Specially when you see people getting approved everyday and you're still waiting. But just pray to god to give you the strength to keep going and it will all be worth it in the end!

haha it wouldnt be much of a bet though, im from central FL just like Jeff, so chances are he was at vermont then nebraska just like me. And nebraska really is cranking out those decisions, i hope the other SC's pick up the pace too, really feeling for those who have been waiting 7-8 months.

Oh C'mon! At least have fun while you wait... We can trade likes...if you win, I like 5 of your comments...if you lose, you like 5 of my comments (or whatever is allowed)...Maybe I'll be scrutinized by regulators LOL BTW - Nebraska is churning out approvals...they are moving quick - compared to other SC's

Thanks Lyssa. It's amazing how a small yet very important decision made by our parents years ago made such a big difference. Although at one point in my life I blamed my parents for that choice now I thank them because it made me work harder for everything I have now and appreciate things in life more. My brother is 22 and he was born here and takes everything for granted. Me and my 30 year old sister have had to work for everything harder. She was approved last month and I hope I'm next.

Guys - 'Patience is a virtue' and 'good things come to those who wait.' So try to be patient, your approval will come... Remember, USCIS has stated that they are not working 'first come, first served...' Also, keep in mind that the Service Centers still have to take care of other applications...DACA was just a pile added into a pile, that was on top of another pile...sitting on another pile... So just be patient, try to distract your mind and avoid checking your status everyday...your approval will come when you least expect it (that's the beauty of it )

Watch the video I posted..... It's in their agenda.... Everything is a setup,, FALSE FLAG. What sadden me the most is the media trying to cover up all these lies..... The TV news and government are LIARS!
