Although these interviews happen, IMO they are not very common (first time I hear about this)...no need to worry... Like @weirdestperson said, collect your thoughts and the documents needed, take additional evidence, make sure you present yourself in professional attire and show the respect they deserve, be confident, and also ask how much longer...don't show them that you are nervous, because nervousness is a sign of weakness...look them straight in the eye, 'yes sir/ma'am, no sir/ma'am,' and everything will work out... At least you will be able to shed some light into the interview process, and you will be able to share it here for everyone to see... Also, prepare yourself...luck is for the unprepared...success is for the people that are prepared...and 'guerra avisada no mata soldado (forwarned war does not kill soldiers)'

I am soo happy! I got my work permit today. Finally after being in this country for 24 years since I was 7 Years old I am now here legal! Just wanted to share the good news with everyone . I don't comment much on here, but I read a lot of y'all posts and to the ones that have not been approved yet, just be patient. You will get approved soon!

Is It Me Or The September Applications Are The Ones That Are Slowly Being Process. I Feel Like September Is Being Left Behind And All Other Months Are Being Process Much Faster. I Send My Application September 25 They Received It September 28 And Took My Biometrics October 24 And I'm Still Waiting. I' In California Anyone Else?

If you don't have a social security number put N/A The agency involved would be DACA And the branch would be USCIS The agency case numbers would be your two receipt numbers And then you Explain your situation After that you print it and sign it. I suggest you fax it It's faster I just basically told him I was out of the normal processing time 7 months and uscis didn't want to service request on my case

Hi me too California received my app sept 17 I did my bios on October 19 since then still initial review! !! ay ya ay!!

I did not receive any notice either... I was never able to check my status during the waiting period...I called many times, like many, and received the same answer over and over again... Then, I got hit with an RFE, and after they received it, I checked the status and I was approved for both DACA and EAD...

Thanks man!! I already contacted my Congressman office, and I'll drop it off on Monday. Hopefully this works!!!! I want to work already. I need $$$ because I resume college this Fall.

U think u can give us a little more details on what ur letter said and what u told them. Also how u filled out the form,? This may help a lot of us out.

As the matter of fact, I've been thinking about doing this but I wasn't so sure where to get the information. Thank you so much! I'm going to do this plan, I hope it helps me out. Right now, I'm on a service request, I'm going to wait & see if they actually give me a decision after it, if not this is my plan B Thank you!!!!

With the massive volume of applications they have to go through and all that, I am sure it is just taking a few days to update your status to you. Maybe on Monday they might do it.
