I sent my app on sep 17 did bios on oct 19 did service request online on 3/30/13 and finally today 4/30/13 received and email saying I have been approved the best feeling ever I just can tell you for all of you that are waiting don't lose hope ur time will come many times I felt depressed with the waiting but thank god that heard my prayers.

Just putting it out there! tomorrow is the Annual LA march to insist the government for an immigration reform!!. anyone who is able to participate, please do so!!!...and please encourage others to join in as well!!!!

I know this wait is terrible. I see so many people getting approved who sent their app after me. I have done two service request n nothing I have emailed them n nothing but to wait. I spoke to a level 2 rep and got the same thing to wait. I can't really contact a Congressman because I'm pretty sure they r against deferred action. I live in Arizona and it has been put out they r against immigration. So I'm left with nothing but to wait. :-(

I applied sept 6th and they received my app sept.12th. Had an rfe in nov 30th. They received my rfe back Dec 19th. I've been waiting a while and I was wondering if I could do a service request and if I can then how would I do that?

Well I got approved yesterday and just found out today So this is how it feels!

So finally after all this waiting I have been approved, Thank god! Only he knows how much I really need this! ... picture this, on Friday I was feeling angry from having to wait and decided to go out & have a lil fun and distract myself, there I am at 11:00pm, buzzing it and I get an email on my phone saying I had been approved for my I-821..Man that's all I remember..lol..best weekend ever! App sent: 12/05/2012 App received:12/15/2012 Biometrics:2/1/2013 DACA Appoved:4/26/2013 EAD approved:4/29/2013 Officialy received in mail: pending

I am soo happy! I got my work permit today. Finally after being in this country for 24 years since I was 7 Years old I am now here legal! Just wanted to share the good news with everyone . I don't comment much on here, but I read a lot of y'all posts and to the ones that have not been approved yet, just be patient. You will get approved soon!

This is interesting i wonder if CA is having some issues with the EAD approvals. since my sister just got DACA approved but her EAD still reads initial review, but no call from USCIS has come in yet though, we are hoping we get the approval notice this week, since from what i've seen the EAD approval always comes after just a few hours of the DACA one. has anyone had this issue as well?

No. A Service Request can be done if your application has exceeded the processing time. The DACA application doesn't have an official processing time, so if you do a Service Request for it, you will just be told that your application is still under review or waiting to be reviewed.

Either way when you call they give you an appointment so you won't get it right away. But i think it's better to send in all your evidence that way your case doesn't get put on hold because they send you a RFE.
