i havent applied for AP and honestly am waiting for CIR in order to travel out of the US.
however, i would advise you that if you are planning on applying for AP, that you have a real legit reason to do so. Educational purposes, Family Emergancy (or death) Humanitarian reasons). those are really the only reason why USCIS would grant AP. AP doesnt work just if you want to travel out of the US for pleasure.
gather as much evidence you can for the reason you are wanting AP.
letter from the school stating you've been accepted to study abroad with exact dates and as much information as possible.
letter from a doctor treating your loved one stating the grave nature of his/her condition or a letter stating the death of said person.
the thing is, is if, you apply for AP and get denied then it's kind of a waste of money so it's best to have all your evidence and all that in order before you apply so the chances of you getting denied are slim.
