So today as every day for the past 7 months, I checked my status and the initial review circle was no longer blue. My case has finally been approved.

I want to thank everyone that gave me advice, or helped me with some of my dumb questions, or anyone that took the time to read my posts. thank you soo much. I think I would've lost my mind without the support of everyone on this forum. Also those who inform themselves with all the recent news about immigration and distribute it to all on this forum. thanks soo much. for those who are still waiting be patient, advice coming from an inpatient short fuse guy, your time will come!! I am very grateful I found this forum.

Diego, I was like you I have been waiting for 7 months and finally I got approve today. I use to call them almost every other day, cheking my status online every day mornings, afternoons. I did something someone told me I contact my ccongresswoman from my state and email/faxed her and asking her for help. I send her all my paper work and let her know my timeline. Her people contact me right away asking for more info. I swear to you that after a week later, I got approved. Maybe it was luck , maybe she did help don't know but you dont loose anything if you try it. Hope this help and good luck . Keep us posted!!!

Where do you look to find a new job?

Hey Gino - The gig is very interesting... Everyone is super nice, and it seems that they won't alienate me, since I started going to meetings on my first day... I felt really comfortable on my first day, so there is a strong possibility I might stay and MAKE THEM LUH ME! The job hunters are just another tool that you can use... Their job is to match your skills with a job that they have available, and who knows, maybe you'll end up somewhere you will like... However, beware of their pay scheme...some are paid by the employer, while others take a bite out of your pay...the company that got me the job does the former, so that is why I am more comfortable... Think about it, and I hope you find something where you can get comfortable... Much success in your search!
