Wow, that's a nice credit line. Be careful, don't use it all in one place.

Best Credit Cards To Apply For After Daca

When i applied for the SSN the lady helping me said i had to use the name exactly as it appeared on the EAC for all paper work. That i would be able to drop the second last name once i went for a permanent resident card and if so i would have to make changes to the SSN later on. Since school i have always used only one last name. Maybe is just for government paper work. Not sure if its for credit card applications as well.

besides everything stated upon, i also think it would depend on the agent looking at your case and their workload. as well as how fast or slow they work. everyone's timeline is going to be different. USCIS states that a response should be given within 60 days of receiving the RFE. also, once USCIS approves DACA, they have 90 days to make a decision on the EAD. now, i am not saying this to be mean or anything but just to be realistic. everyone has different time lines and thus should not compare theirs to anyone else's . RFE or not.

Did you send your court dispositions along with your application? And driving without a license isn't a misdemeanor in many states but driving with a suspended license is. Even though I never had a license just a permit it was suspended because I was driving without insurance. I hope you get approved soon, we all make mistakes it shouldn't have to end up costing us the ability to move forward.

Best Credit Cards To Apply For After Daca

So I just got back from the bank! I updated my ssn and he changed my name too, well he added the other last name. He said he had to hmmpf anyway... I wasn't approved for the regular credit card so I applied for the secure one and I was approved. https://www.bankofamerica.com/credit-cards/products/secured-credit-card.go I paid a $99 deposit fee and was given $500 credit. $39 annual fee eekkk I hate annual fees Lol This card works perfectly for me tho plus I bank with bofA so it seemed convenient. The banker was super nice! he's my age and said he's been getting a lot of ppl who were approved thru DACA. He gave me a TIP.. He said if your balance due is $100 and your payment is due on lets say June 15th. Give $50 payment mid may and then give another $50 payment before June 15th He said that's what he used to build his credit. For those of u still looking into getting a secured cc. This was the other option for me... https://www.usbank.com/credit-cards/secured-card.html Minimum deposit of $300. Your deposit is your credit. Plus they pay you interest on your deposit. $35 annual fee I didn't choose this one bcuz I could get a higher credit line with a smaller deposit at bofA. The paid interest didn't sway me since I'm hoping I don't have to keep a secured cc for that long. $300 seems steep, but you'll get it back plus interest.

    Daca Case Reopened??

Maybe try calling USCIS see what they tell you.I hope it isn't anything bad. The crazy thing is they can go back n reopen a case when there r plenty of ppl waiting almost nine months to get approved. How can they have spare time for this? They should start looking at cases that haven't been approved!
