I'm 21 years old, and I was brought to the United States at the age of 5. I was surfing the internet and I found this website, so I decided to share something about myself. I have lived in the Chicagoland area all my life. When I was younger, I played little league baseball, baseball being my favorite sport and I'm a big Chicago Cubs fan. I went to public school from the 1st grade to the 12th grade. I have always had that drive to achieve greater learning. I write poetry. I read a lot; ancient cultures are my favorite. History and Biology are my favorite school subjects. When a realized I was illegal, I thought, well I've heard of the legislation called the DREAM ACT and without a doubt its going to pass before i'm out of high school. We all know it never passed. As I write this, I am remembering watching the vote count (in the Senate) on c-span. it was heart-breaking, and I never shared my situation with anyone. To make it short, I became: very angry, sad, depressed, and anxious. I felt terrible shame, and not expressing my feelings was drowning me. I have recently applied for DACA. I sent my application on August 27, 2013, and I have my biometrics scheduled for September 23, 2013.

Not sure, all I know is that most federal jobs and private sector jobs that require a security clearance require U.S. Citizenship.

Your faith and positiveness will soon pay off. Its just a waiting thing and I am pretty sure God will soon reward you like you said in the perfect time with your approval.
