I'm so happy for you and everyone else that has gotten approved. I'm gonna guess you're around the chicago area? Mind case was submitted June of this year (first time applicant) and i've heard/noticed the texas lock box is very very slow. I'm on my 5th month of waiting. Ah, this post made me feel a little better knowing that i'm not the only one that has waited so long!

Hello everybody. I finally got approved today 8 months later & after an RFE for proof of being in the US on June 15 2007. And for an arrest I had in 2003 wich I didn't get found guilty of. So all I had to do was send proof for June 15 2007 and a court disposition for my arrest in 2003. I'm very happy im a single dad with full custody of my 2 year old daughter and I can finally apply for a driver's license and give my daughter a good life. To everybody that's still waiting don't lose hope. I used to check the status update on my case almost everyday and it sucked seeing my case still on initial review.. And also I didn't get an email saying I had being approved. I just checked my case online and it said I had being approved. this is my timeline ↓ Application Sent- April 19 2014 Overnight Delivery- April 20 2014 Lockbox- Chicago Received Date- April 20 2014 Service Center- Texas Service Center Appointment Notice- May 5 2014 Date of Biometrics- May 19 2014 Date of RFE- November 10 2014 Date of RFE received- November 18 2014 Date of RFE sent- November 19 2014 Date of RFE received- November 20 2014 Date of EAD approval- December 5 2014 Date of EAD received- Pending.. Applied for SSN- Pending.. SSN Received- Pending.. My next step is to apply for Advanced Parole for Humanitarian reasons and go see my parents and sisters that I haven't seen in 3 years.. And the rest of my family which I haven't seen in over 14 years.
