  1. I believe you're not since you're leaving US Territory if you're taking a cruise to the caribbean islands or any other place staying out of US Territory.
  2. I posted this on some other topic but just in case some people don't see it: "As Rawf said, a service request won't prioritize your case, a service request is a formal letter explaining the status of your case, whether your application is about or has passed the 6 months mark since the date they received your application, you may inquire a service request which will explain the delay of your case. For more info about service requests you may go to this website: http://www.dhs.gov/u...s-and-employers "
  3. Congratulations, now make the best out of it and enjoy!

  5. Approved!! From Vermont!!

Oh my... Now you got me a little worried about "No officer was working in my case". I'm gonna have to call and see what's up. Edit: I called USCIS and they pretty much said the same thing as on their website "Your case is still under review" and then she said DACA has no processing times.
  6. Approved!! From Vermont!!

We have similar timelines and we haven't been approved yet, hmmm. They accepted your service request? I tried to do it online just to see if I could do it and it said I couldn't do it because I'm still within the time frame.

I haven't, I already know what they are gonna say and I'm still within the 4-6 months, this waiting sucks.

  8. This Is Too Long :\

They're taking long to process some cases, who knows what's delaying them to make a final decision. I've been waiting for 131 days (88 working days) it's frustrating, but let's keep hope on that we're getting our approvals soon. Good luck to you all.
  9. It's been long, not feeling good when most people around you got approved and I'm still in the waiting process. Glad I've been focusing on other stuff but discouraging feeling when I think about it.

  12. I want to be part of the "Approved" ones, not in the "Under Review" group.
  13. @Alejandra i know, but to be honest, I really am not stressing about it anymore, i kinda got used to the "4-6 months" idea.
  14. Which Bank You Use?

You had a ssn when you applied? and to all of you with credit cards, do you have a ssn? of course, I'm talking about before getting DACA and all that stuff.

  17. Graduate School As A Daca Recipient

Regardless of education, all the things I would like to work for are just for citizens, they're all about working with the federal government. I'm not happy about it, but I can't be any more glad that I'm given the opportunity to have a work permit and be granted a driver's license, again.
  18. Are My Parents The Only Ones?

Okay, so as I was reading this I kept shaking my head... I think regardless of financial situation, legal status, or any other factor shouldn't be any problem when it comes to love. If you love someone, it's for who they are and NOT for what they have, now, it varies whether you see the potential on someone to become a better self when it comes to ambitions and goals. For those who say to not be with someone who's in your same legal situation, you're being a little rude, just because you're judging someone for their legal status, then, very easy for the resident or citizen to say they are not going to date you because you're an illegal. Parents always want the best for their children, but they often focus too much on "the best" so they end up putting unnecessary pressure on their child making them (sometimes) do what they don't really want to do. It's your life, you decide what to do with it, you're the only one dealing with it and will always do. People come and go, even family, you'll eventually make your own, so try and make a family with the someone you love for who he/she is, not for what they have and can offer you.
