  1. Foreign Tax Form Translation Help?

Yes that's what I'm trying to do. Except I don't know what's what and google translator's not my best friend.
  2. Foreign Tax Form Translation Help?

My parents work completely out of the US. I talked to the FAFSA people and they said to just convert the currency over.. I asked my parents to do it in the Spanish version of the FAFSA and they won't.. Life.
  3. Hi! I need to fill out the FAFSA form but my Spanish isn't really that advanced.. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me translate some forms or even screen out what I need to fill the FAFSA out. I tried google translator but you know it's not really correct and I couldn't find it in the forms. Here are the forms. [link taken out] The basic questions I need help with are: 1. What was your parents' adjusted gross income for 2012? 2. How much did your father&mother earn from working (wages, salaries, tips, etc.) in 2012? 3. Enter the amount of your parents' income tax for 2012. 4. Enter your parents' exemptions for 2012 5. Payments to tax-deferred pension and savings plans 6. Tax exempt interest income 7. Untaxed portions of pensions 8. Housing, food, and other living allowances paid to military, clergy, and others 9. Other untaxed income not reported such as workers' compensation or disability 10. As of today, does the total amount of your parents' current assets exceed $35,400? 11. As of today, what is your parents' total current balance of cash, savings, and checking accounts? 12. As of today, what is the net worth of your parents' investments, including real estate (not your parents' home)? 13. As of today, what is the net worth of your parents' current businesses and/or investment farms? Also, what are all those little 3 digit numbers in the small columns and the 1 digit ones after. ---------------------- If you can help me locate the line on the forms or just translate it into correct spanish would be so helpful! Thank you guys so much!
  4. Traveling WITHIN the US (Domestic)

Alright guys. Flight booked! Taking DACA approval notice, EAD, foreign passport, and temp nondriver's state ID when I apply in a couple days. Oh a plane. I'm so excited.
  5. Getting a state ID

Wait it's fine to have both an ID and a drivers license correct? I can feel "americans" laughing at my questions.
  6. Getting a state ID

So I just got approved and this week I'm going to apply for my SSN and once I get that, my state ID. [For applicants under 62, a short-term ID card is valid for four to five years and costs $9 to $10. A long-term ID card is valid for eight to nine years and costs $13 to $14. http://www.dmv.org/ny-new-york/id-cards.php] Of course I'd like to get a long term ID but I'm to turn 21 in 3 years. Do I just get a 4 year one and then get a long term one after I turn 21? I was hoping they'd automatically update it and send me a new one even if I buy the long term ID.
  7. Traveling WITHIN the US (Domestic)

http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/acceptable-ids I don't know where EAD would fall under but I figured since it's from the government and it has a picture & full name it should be fine...
  8. I got approved on Nov 5th and should be getting my EAD card soon.. hopefully tomorrow? And I really have to fly from NY to FL asap. I can use my EAD card as ID right? Hahahaha I actually did get it the day after this post!
  9. Official Approval Thread - EAD And DACA

↓ Election day tomorrow! This better be some good news!
  10. Official Vermont Approval or Pending Thread

Just got my approval text! FINALLY! On November 5, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. !!!!
  11. Walk-ins before Biometrics appointment date

Itzel: They gave me back my biometrics notice but the stamp only has the tenprints review by ,.. Filled out and not e biometrics part. Not sure if this is a problem so I'm planning to go back and ask just to be safe.. Being so used to doing things the hard way, I'm just suspicious and paranoid haha. Like something good is finally happening! ----- Went to the ASC and talked to the manager just in case. Said the stamp was fine. Called USCIS and finally got a nice lady rep. It's fine to walk in early as long as its the same ASC.
  12. Walk-ins before Biometrics appointment date

I walked in today even when my appointment is on oct 9th. There were no people there and they didn't say it wasn't okay. Although I'm a little scared it went by really fast. They made me fill out a small form and the receptionist let me in after scribbling on the form. I got there at 9:30 and left at 10:30. They take a lot of fingerprints. Your signature and photo. Give you a stamp and a feedback card to fill out. I'm actually suspicious if my stamp is filled out or not. I'm calling every possible office to make sure that it'd be fine. So hopefully I'm fine!
