    Ok so I went to apply for a SSN today and yet told me to come back after 10 days! I guess to be safe, wait 10 days from the issue date of your EAD although some were able to apply couple of days after.. I guess it depends where you go? I applied in San Francisco.. Bring ead, passport, and birth certificate! 3 are key items they look for! Good luck!

      It depends where you go , some ss workers are either lazy, or just want to give people a hard time.
