Also, remember to keep the bar code for renewal of your EAD in a safe place. It is a piece of paper that comes in the same envelope as your EAD card. It has barcodes and explains that you can send it to make the process easier.

Hey I was thinking about other sources of evidence for you. How about taxes? Did your parents/guardians claim you in their tax forms when you were underage? Did you by chance get vaccines? Pictures with dates? Church events that kept records? I'll keep thinking about more ideas.

Keke, Is the online school accredited? If it was some sort of online home school that fulfilled the state requirements it could work but the only thing is you must make sure it is accredited. Otherwise, get your GED.

Hey uhm, It is ok to vent here. We are all here to help out as much as we can. Just a few ideas that came to my mind as I was reading your post. Could you go to your former employer/current employer and ask for letters of how long you have worked for them? My employer wrote me a very simple letter stating I had worked for them since 2008 and I never presented any check stubs or anything. The letter had the business contact information. Also, did you go to the doctor, dentist or maybe attended some kind of program since you entered the country? Bank statements? Online purchases with paypal accounts or amazon accounts? You should also get transcripts of the schools you attended. Keep trying Feel free to message me if you need help with your application or something. Best wishes!

Hi IndieBlocs, No you can make a copy of your SSN and it won't damage it. The security features are not harmed and your future employers will copy it all the time when you get a job. Best way to go about the card is to keep it in a safe place and just memorize the number CONGRATS by the way.

It feels so unreal still. After getting my EAD, SSN, and DL I am applying for jobs at local clincs and hospitals to obtain my medical experience and use my bachelor's in science. This will hopefully allow me to attend medical school if we are granted permanent residence. For now, I will be content with getting an entry level job in the health care field.

Hi there, You should be honest with your future employer. I can see how you are excited to start the new job and these oportunities don't happen all the time. Nevertheless, if they verify documents in that office you will find yourself in a very embarrasing and difficult situation. Let's hope you get the approval soon so you can start working there. Is it possible for you to speak with the person who hired you and explain how close you are from getting your documents? Maybe they can pay you as an independent contractor with your ITIN number - meaning you pay the taxes and after you obtain your SSN and EAD you could just be included in the payroll?
