I think it might help the process in some way because I feel like the fact that your entrance was registered in the system makes it easier for them to establish you were here since that specific date. But, I also think factors such as no criminal record and presenting a good amount of evidence influences the approval processing time.

So I have several friends whose biometrics were between the end of October and November and they received their EAD this week. Both were processed at the Nebraska service center and they are from different states. Both of them presented solid evidence of continual stay in the US. One is from Mexico and the other one is from Guatemala. They both entered the country with a tourist visa. My case was also processed there and my circumstances were the same as theirs. My timeline below.

Hi there welcome Beah and congratulations. I can relate to what you say on the job search. I had to wait almost 2 months until I could get a job. But hey keep applying, revamp your resume, have someone else look at it and give you ideas on what skills and key words to include. It is awesome you are also going to college. One idea, go to your school's career department and ask them about internships. Usually those can lead to a really good job or references. Best wishes!

I would include the phone bill even thought it is not under your name just explain it. I did that as well. Do you babysit or work anywhere part time? Maybe you could get a letter from your employer stating you were there on that date? I included a medical bill, the phone bill under my parents name and an affidavit letter from my employer stating "she was present on June 15, 2012 at our office. Hope this helps. -
Ugh I am so sorry this happened to you. I can see how this person thought it was convinent to hire you at the time and then switched the story. So this is what you could maybe do. Go talk to her and let her know exactly what you are going through and the fact that you had to leave a job to accept the job under the agreed conditions. If you were honest at first, I don't see why not approaching her with this would hurt. Plus she might realize that you truly need the money so she might be willing to work a deal with you.

hi there first of all what is your field of interest? Do you have any plans for more schooling? I would say try to find an entry level job in the field that you want to build a career in. That way you can make good connections with the current employees who might be able to give you references for school or a better job in the future. Also try to find a job that offers benefits and life insurance because that is huge plus.
