thanks for sharing your story with us! I know how you feel, felt the same when I was in high school. It's really disappointing to see others that can, not taking advantage of the opportunities that are given to them :/ but don't ever give up! -
haven't really been in here for a while, I've been looking for a job :/ but most of them either need people with a flexible schedule or someone with experience :/ gosh it is hard finding a job, but i wont give up

Same my timeline is on my signature From what I have seen Cali's center is taking long as well. I've seen a lot of approvals from September and October so hang in there. I'm sure there will be more approvals from Cali this month Best of luck

if he qualifies for AB 540 (in-state tuition) then he most likely qualifies for the CA Dream Act. But like Heisenberg2 said the deadline is Monday (today) :/ ... also if he is planning to attend a community college instead of a 4year institution (UC or CSU) he can apply for the BOG fee waiver. For that he can apply whenever. He should also go to the financial aid office at the school he wants to attend and ask what type of aid he qualifies for Good luck to your friend
