Like a said bro - Just deal with it...forget about it and celebrate when it comes... Don't just sit there and wait... Been there, done that!

Sometimes, life is not fair... They received my app on August 15th and was approved on February 14th of 2013...Go figure... So don't worry - just live your life and let it come when it does...it eventually will... If you let your life revolve around the day when it comes, it is not pleasant...get busy and occupy your mind...or play video games, or read or whatever you like to do...just do more of it...

This is what the first page of the recent I-9 should look like... Notice in the first square on the top, right hand corner, that it will expire in 2016 (most recent one) In the second square below (Section 1 of I-9), you populate with your personal information (name, address, Social Security Number, etc) Below, you check you are an 'Alien authorized to work until (date on your EAD/Work Permit - date of expiration) Next, your Alien Number (in the new EAD, it is called USCIS # and below it gives you the number - 012-345-678) Then, you sign... Second page of I-9 looks like this: In the red square, is the area that your employer should fill out (or you can fill out yourself)... Basically, you put your Work Authorization Number (A# 0123456789), Expiration date of EAD, your Driver's License Number and expiration date, and sometimes your Social Security Number Employers usually fill out that section and will ask you for your EAD, Social and DL so they can make copies for their records... Questions? Comments?

It is very common to get these type of answers... They will always blow off callers, because the 1st Level Representatives have access to the same info you have access to...nothing else... 2nd Level Reps might tell you a bit more, but that is about it... Bottom line, they will always tell you to wait... So wait patiently and you will hear from them in due time...

Your I-9 looks weird... I just filled out one a couple of days ago and it was very simple... I suggest you scan it/take pic...blur personal details and post it here so we can see...I will do the same with mine and show you... You basically just have to fill out about 4 things...your employer populates the fields on page 2 (type of documents, etc)

You really have no control over it... Wait for them to update the system and go and get your SSN. Some people here have been able to get print outs and have fared well... Perhaps some of those that got the print outs can assist you further... Bon Chance!

1. Your social is only valid with a valid work authorization (EAD) - so it should work with your valid EAD that you got in the mail thanks to DACA 2. You could have the middle letter changed if you want, but anyone with common sense will know it is you...you could contact USCIS and let them know about your problem and see what solutions are offered... 3. You won't have to pay anything other than shipping, right. 4. Where do you need help in the I-90? Don't worry - it will get sorted out...

uhhhhh You are going too fast...we should see other people LOL
-
LOL Told ya! Congrats!
-
Congrats!! You deserve it!!! Now go shake it...but don't break it!
-
Be patient... If they were going to deny your request...they would've done so already... So, no worries...live as if DACA did not exist and just receive the surprise... Checking your status everyday does not help... Neither does it help to remind yourself that you have been waiting for so long, etc etc... Take a break from everything and you'll be fine...do it for your own good, and for your own health... Been there, done that...

Oh - WE KNOW! LOL

Whenever you are approved for DACA, it takes a couple of hours for them to update the EAD as well... Make sure you check online with both Receipt Numbers... If not, you can always give them a call, although there have been some cases where some people have been approved for DACA, but their EAD takes some time to be sent to processing, or delivered at your home for that matter...

Help With Deportation Threat During Daca Process..
Santi replied to pretty_sharay's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
The people have spoken! You should put so many lawyers up his butt, so that people think they are opening a branch office up there! 'Nuff Said! (They see him ^ rollin'... they hatin') -
If USCIS asks for two passport pictures...send it to them... If they ask for the picture of a cock fighting a cat...send them the pic, and video of the fight... If they ask for the 7 Dragon Balls...you send them and the huge dragon that pops up... If they ask for the cure for cancer...you better get your butt on the lab! If they ask you to sit on a bathtub full of noodles with a bathing suit...you don't bring any sauce... If they ask you to look for someone that looks like Tom Hanks...you better get on Craiglist! You get the Idea... I think I also sent the pictures (Don't remember)...I would err on the safe side and send them the pictures...worst thing they can do is throw them away/discard them...they won't decline your request for DACA because you sent the pictures... I sent a copy of my VALID passport, a copy of an ID issued by the Colombian government, College ID...basically anything that proved I was me...

Congratulations! That's a nice party starter!
