  2. What's interesting is that the Chechens have a problem with Russia, not US. Perhaps it is because the were Islamic Extremists that they did what they did...but remember: extremists have also attacked London, some other countries in Europe, India, and constantly strike in Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa...I wouldn't isolate the US.
  3. Well - There are also Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Africans, African-Americans, etc that fit your description... It all depends on goals and determination...if you strive for success, you will achieve it...if you have a sense of entitlement and believe the government owes you something, you will fit the description provided above
  4. Even Rubio will fight - for political reasons, but he will fight...he is looking after his interests! - Read: Republican nomination in 2016

  9. No worries bro - you are still cool
  10. Dude! C'mon - I understand your frustration, but this is uncalled for. Several reasons: Although latinos are the most popular immigrants in the US, we are not the only ones...people from all over the world are waiting for comprehensive immigration reform, just like us - Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe Arabs? They are Muslim of Chechen origin, but they are Radical, Extremist, Muslims. I know many muslims who are just super awesome and great friends - Arabs and Africans Hopefully this won't have an adverse effect on the debate (although I think it will), and hopefully I was able to clarify some of your confusions. Saying that are all Arabs are Terrorists is akin to saying that all Mexicans are lazy, all Colombians are drug dealers, etc etc. Just saying - let's avoid generalizations
  11. In Case You Were Wondering...

Sounds good enough! You shouldn't worry much about it... If they need additional information, they will send you an RFE (but I doubt that will be the case)... Just sit back and enjoy the wait...
  12. How Did You Find Adreamact.com?

Once again, Google has exerted its dominance as the search engine of choice!
  13. In Case You Were Wondering...

I only sent my a copy of my school transcripts, which spanned for like 5 years, and included my college diploma and other certificates I received during that time. To prove that I was here at the cutoff date (June/July 2012), I provided information from TMobile and some of my gym receipts. That seemed to work in my case, since I have already been approved. Many others have also provided transcripts. Therefore, it will be much easier for them if you submit something official that basically proves that you resided in the States since '07. Sending a ton of information makes it a little harder on the case officers to cross-check the bigger packages. However, if there is no other alternative, you do what you can to make sure you are DACAmented.
  14. Congrats! That is one more guys!

  17. Yes - The wait is now about 4-6 months, sometimes a little longer. I suggest that individuals that are getting ready to apply, make sure they send their package with the highest quality as possible. This means that all of the evidence sent should be enough and should cover the time frames required for DACA. In doing so, you avoid headaches later on (headache=RFE, or possible denial). Make sure you are as meticulous as possible, paying attention to every single detail if filling out the application by yourself or with your family. If using an attorney, don't rely on them 100% - they are still humans, and make mistakes...If you can double check the application before your attorney submits it, even better...ask questions, and don't just think that because that individual has a JD, he/she won't miss a letter here, a number there... Just a thought...

  20. Entire Senate Bill Text Released

In my opinion, for many other reasons, the longer the program, the better... If you can get an Associate's in Science from a Jr. College: You will be able to use your degree right after graduation and look for a job in your respective field You can transfer your credits to a traditional 4-year university if you want to continue your studies Your debt load will be significantly lower than if you attended a Career College I, personally, attended a Jr. College and transferred to a State U...it took me around 5 + years, but it was definitely worth it! If you don't have significant commitments other than a full time job, you can at least strive for the Associate's degree...schedules are mostly flexible and you can study around your work schedule... Even if you have a family, you can take a couple of classes per semester until you meet the requirements for the degree... Keep in mind that the requirements for PR will go into effect, if and only if, the bill passes in congress... However, it is still a good investment that will eventually lead to a career and not a job.
