    is been 2 weeks i been waiting on my social security the letter they gave me says it can take up to 4 weeks !!

      Usually if it says to wait 4 weeks, then that means that the SSA wasn't able to verify your information with USCIS over the computer, so they will have to mail out your information to DHS and wait for a confirmation of your status. That's why it takes a little bit longer.

      You should have your SSN soon though.
