hey guys, my daca is set to expire on august 2017 and i doubt i'll be able to renew it again with trump as president. im thinking of applying at a studio out of state, but im scared that trump will cancel daca as soon as he gets into office. do you guys think he can cancel asap or will it take some time for him to do? is it even worth it applying? this is my dream job and it would suck if have to leave after getting hired.

Backstory: Permit expired June 2015 Only 1 of my cases was approved August 2015 So I keep emailing them back and forth and they keep telling me to wait. Last time I emailed them they said that they had already sent my case to a records facility and that they were going to request it to be sent back to them. All I recieved was "sorry for the inconvenience" So finally my second case was approved May 2016 (almost a year later) and I finally received my card. But this is kind of f*cked up because instead of getting my permit for 2 years after my second case was approved, it shows that my card expires next year , which they basically cheated me out of 1 year all because of a mistake on their part. That's messed up because I was let go from work.

I don't understand why this is taking so long. My bio metrics were back in February. And I'm still in the process of getting my permit. I was approved on the 7th of August. It's been 2.5 months later, but I haven't received anything. I keep checking myUSCIS to see if they've shipped it, but there has been no updates on my case. I filled out the "Outside Normal Processing Time" form and got an automated message that I should hear back from them by the 30th of October. I'm not sure what to do if I don't hear back from them. I've been unemployed for 4 months now because of this.

So i received my approval notice (still waiting for my card) and on it it says that my approval notice is valid from xx/xx/2015-xx/xx/2017. Is this enough to show employers?

so i had my biometrics on february 18th. got a receipt notice. applied for a address change about a month ago. also got a letter saying that they received the request. havent heard from them since. my daca expired on 6/14. im not sure what i have to do now. do i continue to wait or should i call them?

I managed to get my DACA approved. Now that my sister is older than 21, I am wondering if i can apply for form I-130 (petition for alien relative). I found a form online, but it's from 2011, and I don't know if it is accurate. This is what I am talking about; #4 DACA qualifies as legas status right? If anybody has more experience about this please let me know. Thank you.

Thanks guys. I was just looking at my approval notice and it said I would get my permit once my I-765 was approved as well (only my I-821D has been approved). So both cases need to be approved Last time I had any updates on my I-765 was on the 18th of February. I'm still going to call tomorrow.

were you checking your status case online? because they usually update when they approve, create, and sent out your permit. e.g. "On April XX, 2015, the Post Office delivered your new card for Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXX" asking because i moved (filled out an address change form, but they still sent my approval notice to my old address)

my permit expired 2 months ago, but was recently approved. now i have to wait 60 more day? this really sucks

sucks that i have a mustang wasnt there a minimum time you needed to have a license for though?

i waited like 10 days, but it took me 4 weeks to get my social some people say you wait minutes to apply. first time i went i had, to wait 2.5 hours (went monday at around noon) went back 3 weeks later, because i had not received it. waited 1 hour this time (thursday, opening time).

gathering paperwork as well plus its being a pain in ass getting a matricula, had to wait 2 months for the appointment, then it turns out that my birth certificate wasn't the right one, it was a civil registry now i got to reschedule an appointment, and god knows how long i'll have to wait for another appointment.

Proof of entry prior to age 16, continuous residence in U.S. since June 15, 2007, and on June 15, 2012 5. i have a lot of bank statements. one for each month from around october 07 to now. will bank statements alone be enough? thanks in advanced.
