U sent it to VT? And already got approved? Damn, now im scared I am gonna get an RFE. You did it a week before me, and got approved last week. Awesome for you! I am very happy, but now I am freaking out lol.

I actually took a job under the impression my papers would arrive in 3 months based on other's timelines. That was a stupid and desperate idea to get out of my dead end job, haha it backfired big time, and now I had to leave the job, and I am unemplyed. Good thing that they are still holding the position for me. Thank God for that much. Kids, don't be stupid like me! Wait til you have all your stuff in hand to make any decisions!!!

No, don't say that, and don't feel guilty because this was given to you. No way! I hear Iowa, Missouri, Idaho and I get concerned because I tend to hear that a lot of people out there are very close minded. Have you been able to get a license? I really hope you can find something, even if it is a restaurant, I say that, just because it is not healthy to be at home all the time thiking things over too much. I have been home for almost a month and I am going crazy already, but I am not even approved yet. You can always move later, but go to school or a course that will accept DACA. No amount of education is too much. We are young and we will have out chance in this country. Do not give up. Pray and I will pray for you too, I know you will find something. Wow that is a long time. Did you try calling at all? I think I will start going crazy it 5 months go by and I don't get approved. I hope that at least if they have to send a RFE they do it soon. I think you should call, if you haven't yet. Maybe if you call, they will see that they are late with your approval, you never know, so many applications and papers sitting on their desks, things get lost. I definitely hope it is not lost and they are just a little overdue with ur stuff...Good luck anyways.

I have no idea what that is, unfortunately. I have heard about this Mexican matricula, but I am Brazilian and I don't know what it even looks like. It is like a birth certificate? Sorry.

Everything that you have is good. Although, some lawyers did recommend not to send anything with a fake ssn. But I am sure people are not getting denied because of that because they are not stupid, they know exactly what we are doing even if we don't show them everything. Don't worry, you are fine.

This is such bullshit. $ months later? wow. I am kind of expecting an RFE too now, with the amount I have seen in the last few weeks here I am worried. You miss proof for 5 months in the paperwork and they go crazy, like, where were you during that time, stealing, making money, how? Jeez, but you are right, at least it shows someone looked at your file and gave a shit. I am almost begging for that too. But it will be quick after you send something else. Good luck.

Everything that came to me stapled, such as my driving offenses, I took copies of it and put paper clips. Nothing stapled, everything separated by paper clips. All bank statements together, all school paperwork together, all passports together and in order. I did not staple anything, I was afraid they would get pissed haha. I just sent in in a manilla folder and put it inside a big USPS envelope. The one thing they tell you is that, if you are going to sign up for the txt msg service, you MUST put that on top of everything else, so, as soon as they open it, they see your cell number and get it done.

I sent in mine about 3 weeks later than you. I am hoping for no later than mid March. I can't stand being home and not working. And I definitely don't want to go out and do the wrong thing and applying with non legal papers to work. And it will get worse now with the law they are trying to pass. This is so sad, I feel terrible for the children who are here ilegally now and will grow up here never knowing their home countries...now what about them? In 10 years, will they fit in another law? Many Americans can be so offensive, and the most ignorant thing is that the real Native American is the real and original owner of this land. They were here and got taken advantage of, but the typical American refuses to acknowledge that. It is like Obama said, "what we forget is that we used to be them". It just makes me so sad to see how many people could be succesful and help, but because of a stupid SSN, you can't do anyting, not even contribute to the country. And it is not like it is our right to be here, out parents made necessary choices, but they knew what they were doing. I feel that by not protecting the border, the situation is going to get worse for us, the undocumented immigrants of right now, it needs to be done. And it may sound selfish because you know, "I'm already here", but we also need to think of the American people who are here, we are not entitled to this, but obviously, they did not send any of us packing yet for a reason. I just feel so cheated sometimes when I see spoiled American teenagers sometimes smoking weed, doing drugs, selling dope and we are out there working for $8/hr and they have all this free time and resouces because their parents worked hard to pay for an education and they barely have to lift a finger, because you know, Consuelo the housekeepr does all things for Mr. Johnsons' kids lol...very stero typical, sorry. I am just frustrated about not being employed right now when there is a job actually waiting for me and I can't work it bc I am still waitiiiiiiiing for someone to get their damn coffee every morning and look at my name sitting there on the desk and say "Well, let me see, this kid went to school, she pays taxes with an ITIN, she doesn't have any criminal history, I think I will approve"...but nooooo...damn it! I agree. The people around here are always so racist, they probably think that the President is an idiot for doing this and it is now their job, so, why not make us wait as long as possible, right? That isn't always the case, but people just make undocumented people feel so bad most of the time it is hard not to assume things like that.

Hmm...this is new. I had seen a post from someone who thought that as time went on, the processing times would get longer because so many people are applying and they are not processing stuff fast enough. Maybe this is what is happening now. Try and call them on Monday and ask. Because this does sounds like there is an overflow of applicantion where they havent even initiated your review. I could definitely be wrong, but just call and ask, you might get some better info and then you can share with us all here as well in case someone gets the same thing as you. Good luck

I don't belive most of us are "complaining" about the time wait, it is just that by comparison it seems unfair, the processing times, application orders and proof we sent. Some people getting RFE months later, some people getting recalled for bio 2 months later... this just makes us all anxious and mad because we need it so much. We are very thankful, but we just feel like something is not right in the processing, which is understandable because this is the first time this system is being used. But at the same time, it is frustrating, especially for people like Amor here, she has been waiting forever, almost 6 months and she hasn't heard a word. Now, some other people sent stuff and got approved in 2-3 months, it just doesn't sound like the system is working properly, you know what I mean. We all are, and will all be, forever, eternally greatful.

I don't care as long as I am not the one kissing the person. haha But I will tell you, my brother in law has been smoking for 20 years, since he was 10 years old, his teeth were the grossest thing ever, I don't even know how his girlfriend ever had the courage to kiss him in the first date. It was a multitude of gray holes showing the roots of his teeth and the bones and broken tips. I am a dental assistant, and that crap was unbeareable to look at. I think I pestered him enough to get him teeth fixed. He still smokes and that is such a health hazard for his baby, and for himself, after 20 years the body can take so much. Thank God he did fix his teeth a couple months ago, I think now he has a daughter he is a lot more conscious, thank God. Y do you ask, you smoke? It is not gross, depending on how much you do it and if you don't smell, but the thing that pisses me off the most about my brother in law is that he smokes a pack or more a day and whenever I go to his house I have to wash my clothes and hair, I feel disgusted because it smells so bad. It just makes me not want to be around him and that sucks because I really like him and his family. When he moved a couple years back to his new house with the girlfriend, he took pictures frames out of the wall of his bedroom, and they were stained all around from the smoke of his cigaretts, that was the end of me ever even wanting to be near him. 3 cigaretts a day is the limit, best would be no cigaretts, but hey, what can one do right? Just personal opinion, I do not mean to offend anyone who smokes, but it is just something NOT for me to be around them when they smoke. My father smoked his way to death, so, I hate to see people smoke,but I don't resent them for it.

All you need is to prove your being here from 2007-July 2012, when the law was passed. Bank statements, bills under your name, medical records, HS diploma, a passport (photo ID). You do not need to prove to them that you came here on a visa, all they want is to fit you withing the guidelines, which you fit, because you went to hs, college, have diploma, have been here for probably more than 10 years, right? So, you are all set. I did not send an I-94 either, mine was stolen a long time ago. Also, if you have ever been caught driving without a license, go to the place where you had your hearing at court and ask for your files and discharge papers, because that is also proof of you being here at a certain time, and also, you are being honest with them when they check you, it does not affect you at all, it is a simple misdemeanor. Good luck applying, and send it soon, it is taking foreeeever. I hope you don't live in the east coast, the Vetmont center is the slowest, I hope you get somewhere better and faster. lol

It is not crucial that you will get rejected. Just send in all you have. An I-94 is a yellow sheet they give you along with the seal to enter the country, I did not send one either, mine was stolen. You know, especially send copies of passports, example, your first passport, the one you came here with, if you have it. But is is not something to keep you from applying, do not worry about it. These people are such morons, delaying processes for something like this. What do they expect you to send? Urghhh...this just infuriates me, how incompetent they can be. They probably lost it, and are now asking for the same things. But yeah, send the same stuff plus a letter I guess. Good luck.

Can you go to the local bank and ask them for a letter? That is what I did, one of the managers wrote a letter saying I had been a customer there for 7 years, and also, bank statements.

This is terrible news for the country. More and more people are probably going to lose money, not to mention all the important mail people are missing on the weekend. I feel bad for the workers. The post office is apparently a really good place to work at, but technology has just "ruined" mail exchange. I hope this doesn't affect all of us who are/will get approved in finding jobs, and the American workers as well.

Yeah, you still got another month to go. If you get to March and no answer, definitely call them. But many people have been saying that when you call, all that you are gonna get is "Please wait to the 6 month mark to call". You know how beaurocratic these things can be. My case has been on review since December and I am not expecting anything at all ultin at least April You can call if you really wanna know, but chances are they are going to tell you to wait 6 months before anything.
