I really can't tell yet. I have applied to get insurance thru the market place bc I have a very serious pre existing condition, and as soon as I put down how much I make, they offered assistance from the government. So, I filled out that application and now have to wait to hear back...but when I filled it out, they gave an option to put down the C33 code, which is the DACA code...but I have heard that they deny those applications bc they have it there as option, but have no knowledge of what it is...so when the denial comes back, you have to take it upon yourself to look for a health center for latinos and see if the people there can get your stuff approved. I mean, you can get insurance, bc you will pay for it..obviously, but you have to kind of push it. That is all I can tell you so far from my experience. I am waiting now 4 more weeks to maybe get an answer from them bc I need insurance very badly.

I got an RFE for evidence as well and I sent electric bills, ebay, paypal. I guess someone had said once if the picture on FB has a date stamp you can send that too. Have you tried asking someone from church to write a letter?

You don't need to tell your supervisor, if you are unconfortable, you can talk to someone in the HS department and they will do it...no questions asked!

You live in Cali? That is absurd, you got a SSN because your legal status is...well...LEGAL! They shoulnd't have to check absolutely anything, that is bullshit...There are plenty of people from cali here, ask Calidreamer, look for her on the members board and ask her, I think she got approved already...she would be able to tell you. And you should ask help from your senator if that is the case, I would think this is descrimination.

It took me 7 months, I know of some people who applied in August and are still waiting. I guess it is just luck. But keep calling when your waiting time is over because sometimes they will approve you and just leave you sitting there. That is what happened to 2 people I know, they had been approved 2 months before, and they called to ask what happened and it was just sitting there. The need foreigners working there, they woudl be much faster...put a fast food burguer flipper up in that shit, we would be getting approvals up to our necks! hahaha Just saying, we are way too efficient for our own good, and that is the whole truth folks! haha

Yes, I live in MA and mine went to VT, but then got transferred, it depends on where you are closest to, but I guess Nebraska had less of a work load back in March, that is when many of us were transferred there.

What I did was buy a car, and that is how I am doing that. But you can try BOA, get a secure card, I think you have to pay 500 and then they will give u a CC.

I will end up having to transfer my car to my husband's insurance and sign it over to him..he has commercial insurance, so I will be covered no matter what. People at the dealer screwed me over and registered the car under my name instead of under my company name, and I have to pay 900 to register the again because of their mistake. I already paid that 34 days ago, I sent them a complaint thru BBB, and they called me fradulent, as if i were trying to do something illegal, and was treated like an animal and I left the dealer crying. It was ridiculous, there is nothing illegal about registering your car under a DBA name, but no matter what, I will be paying less than 150 a moth for insurance. Anyways... I hope they pay my 900 back, if not, they got a really bad review from me anyways, that is no way to treat someone who spent 13k at their dealer.

Yup..im starting to believe that MA insurance is more exensive than anywhere else...I got a 2011 Mazda3 and im paying 100 bucks a month, but that is because I registered with in a different way. Like I said, if I had registered it under my license it would be 550 a month, not to mention the 3k that I would have to put down. I called Progressive, Geico, Amica, everyone!

I filled out paperwork for 3 people, 2 of them got it, and the other one is still waiting. They are all brothers, all sent together, in the same package. So, each case is case, different people manage each person, they really are not looking at anything as a "family deal". Which sucks, because since they sent it together, they should all have gotten answers...it has been 10 months for them already.

Even if something does pass by the end of summer, they won't make it a law until after they secure the borders...so..maybe Xmas 2014 we will be with our families! It will be a similar process to DACA, the waiting time will be exntensive, for some people, not even 2016..that is what I am guessing, bc this is 11 million people we are talking about...

It will come, don't worry, I know it is taking sooo long for so many people, and I can't imagine how it would be like for someone sending their stuff in today...imagine that? Probably a year's wait or more, actually. Keep positive, it will come for sure, but the ratio of agents and applicants is just not compatible lol. I also read that if I haven't applied for a loan or cc, there would be zero credit history, is that true? I need a loan for 6k also for a car, I was hoping I could get that at my bank as well. Since I don't make as much as my husband I thought I could put him as a cosigner but he doesn't have a SSN, he has an ITIN...I don't even know what to do. I am sorry to hear that Petbel, sometimes PD in Boston can be a bunch of a**holes, they are very racist, especially the ones that patrol at night. The ones from where I live are pretty used to no one having a license around here, so, they cut us some slack.
