  1. Everyday has become a battle, but the war hasn't been lost yet ;)

  2. waiting too long?

I wouldn't bother calling to be honest. The application process takes about 4 to 6 months. Just because others have received theirs early, does not mean you will too. You can call, but the representative that answers might not know what to do about the situation since they can only supply you with quick and easy information. The people who you call are not experts. They just look information online, if it fits into category of "Schedule appointment to look into the issue" they will, and you can also do it yourself by going to uscis.com and singing up for e-request. Don't worry if you think your application will be denied, myself and many others are also, impatiently, waiting for an answer.
  3. the application takes 4-6 months. After 6 months you should call.
  4. "Work after EAD" Forum

By the way; if your smart you can start looking around your area for jobs. I haven't been accepted yet and have a position ready to fill as a bank teller for citizen's bank. This, of course, is the afternoon shift and it should, every week, round up to 30 hours with $10.50 as the opening salary. (I mean round up as schedule is not fixed. I might work longer on monday then thursday, or it could switch out, no matter what, 30 hours a week.) Pretty nice! The only issue I would ever, ever have there is that people are not my age and do not share same interests...but it's a job and helluva good one ^.- (I got this by having my aunt speak with the manager whom she worked for 5 years ago. She used to work there and gave me a big recommendation, as well as mentioning my situation so I don't have to hide anything! Luv it.) I would be very very sad if I was declined, but there are no issues with the past 8 years of my life here.
  5. Vermont Center

This is going to take a long time... i just hope it's good news at least.
  6. DACA Approvals Surpass 50,000!!!! :)

According to that, as of Nov 15, I am the other half of the people who are still waiting for a decision. 124,000 under review and 53,000 approved.
  7. Mad ghetto. Go to your USCIS office asap thou! walk-in's seem like a good thing.
  8. Not approved yet!

reputation- of course there are the MINORITY who haven't received a word but the majority of those who sent early, i'd say 90% have def received a word about their case.
  9. DACA Process [Timelines]

we're in the same train dude. keep in touch.
  10. I am still waiting also. Our time should be in a month (called USCIS Vermont & they said that if your bio appointment was late sept/mid august and the application was received mid/late September you should be hearing something. Process takes 4-6 months.
  11. Not approved yet!

you've sent it late. If you had sent early (mid/late August and early September you would've heard SOMETHING by now.) I had my appointment on the 18th of October, just like you, but for Vermont. I didn't know of walk-ins so that was ignored. ;c
  12. Who is still waiting for approval?

it should be an extra month for us to be honest.
  13. Who is still waiting for approval?

Yes, Vermont. I am waiting...and waiting. but patiently. I will definitely call, but it will most likely be useless. Also, I am not of Hispanic descent so I do not understand Spanish, but I have been able to read the posts. Um, I don't know how many months it's been since they received my application, but it's been well over 2 months after my biometrics. Better late than never
  14. I would not even bother attempting at retrieving your credit from the fake SSN. If I were you I'd leave that alone. Since faking a SSN is very, very bad.
  15. Also, they might mean 15 BUSINESS DAYS, which wouldn't mean 15 consecutive but 5 per week. Meaning in 3 weeks.
  16. I mean...if they said 15 days and it's only been 10... then you shouldn't be worried. One thing that you should be happy: you were approved. That's a BIG thing taken out of your way and you should be glad. I am still waiting and if I only knew that I was approved, I wouldn't care about anything else.
  17. Who is still waiting for approval?

Sarah me and your husband did around the same time. Oct 18th here though. I have yet to hear anything...

  20. RFE !!!

Well at least she has them looking on her forms and all now. Once those papers are in, it shouldn't be long. If you had all the papers from the start though...you would've been approved.
  21. RFE !!!

Lol you forgot to show proof of residence from 07 to 12? and with a lawyer? lol... you could've paid me 10 bucks and I would've done a better job
  22. Rh_ny im guessing that your together with the other RFE people. If you give them what they need your good to go soon!
  23. Perla, we are on the same boat! I did it a day earlier than you though. Are you Chicago/Vermont? I did my bio the 18th (my appt. date). Keep in touch!!
  24. I heard it takes a week, at least where I live.
