Kids be smart and think in about the long run. I have spent more money in repairing my "fast car" than i ever imagined. Finally sold it to a dealer and all i got was 4k for it.
Think of Insurance.... You need full cover in case someone with out insurance hits you.
Gasoline, registration, maintenance, and make sure you can afford paying it off even if lay off work.
Right now i would love to buy a Toyota pick up/ corolla from 1982 - 2000 nothing fancy yet reliable.
Im sorry but ford, dodge, chevrolet i have owned them all and they are nothing reliable The Japanese cars are.
I know we owe USA a lot and should be buying american cars but old american cars are not wise investments.
New american cars are a lot better
