  1. It doesn't really matter, but to be safe just write down both last names. You may want to update your timeline, if you've been approved.
  2. I hope they can help you as soon as possible. Keep us in touch with your application, if you can.
  3. Daca Not Approved

You have nothing to worry about. Although, I find it weird how police can write tickets to undocumented individuals, how would that work exactly? If we're not in the government or police data base then how do they know if they are writing a ticket to the right person? Is like writing a ticket to a ghost. LOL
  4. Daca Not Approved

No. You were not arrested or booked, it won't affect your case, unless there's a warrant for your arrest.
  5. Its possible that maybe it was delivered at the wrong address, there were many times were my mail ended up in my neighbors mailbox ...anyway just call them and tell them about that. Congratulations by the way.
  6. All those identification documents are enough for them to let you take your Biometrics. However, if you don't want to take the risk of showing up on you scheduled date for Biometrics and they end up denying you to take you're Biometrics , I suggest that you try to do a walk-in before the actual schedule date, that way you can have time to reschedule you're Biometrics and figure out something else in the meanwhile.
  7. Try to do the following, if you haven't already tried it. Go to the DMV, take all identification documents that you currently have. Take the copy of your green card and all the documents that have your name and your social security on it. Its a long shot but its worth a try. Beg to the DMV employee if you have to so that he/she can let you apply for an ID. Tell them that you've lost all forms of identification. If that doesn't work then I would recommend that you try to do a "walk-in" and try if they would allow you to take your Biometrics with the available identification documents that you current have. If that fails, then the only choice would be to reschedule your Biometrics appointment before the deadline, so that you can buy some time to get your Matricula Consular.
  8. @ Adrylyn. You have nothing to be nervous about. Do you have any school ID's that you can show to the security guard in order to take your Biometrics? Find any identification that has your picture and your name on it. I'm sure that you should have some school ID at least. I would recommend that you call your respective Biometrics service center ASAP and ask them about ID requirements, If they don't accept non-government ID's than I would suggest that you reschedule your Biometrics appointment so that you can buy some time to get your Matricula Consular. By the way, do you have any expired passport?
  9. How Did You Find Adreamact.com?

I found this forum on a Google Search, I was searching for Dream Act related news and it was after the election and everyone was talking about immigration and what not, so this forum was one of the top search results that showed up on Google. I actually saw this Forum many times before but I've always avoided to "Sign-Up" , and then when I came back to this forum there was an interesting topic and I wanted to see other peoples comments and the only way that was possible was to sign-up, so I decided to sign-up and it was very simple and less annoying than I previously thought...and I've been hooked on this Forum ever since, and not to mention that it ended being very helpful throughout my DACA Application process and its going to be the home to be when the fight for immigration reform comes in April. So thank you Admin and all the helpful members of this forum.
  10. No, not at all, if anything it might help your case.
  11. Those With Csc And Still Waiting.....

Most people on this forum have applications pending in California, Vermont and Nebraska but there have been little discussions about the Texas Service Center.
  12. You can lease a car even if you have no credit, but they will probably charge you more than the car is worth with a hefty down payment, but there are a lot of options available for people with no credit who want to lease a car. The bottom line is, dealerships have a lot of cars to sell but not as many buyers and they will find a way to sell you a car. And by the way, a No credit is NOT equal to bad credit, that's the myth some people try to spread around, its much better having no credit than having a bad credit.
  13. You won't be able to get your score yet, because in order for a FICO Score to be calculated on your credit report, the report must contain enough information and enough recent information on which to base a score. You and I have no history reported to the consumer reporting agencies yet, we must at least have one account that has been open for six months or longer in order for them to establish a report on our credit. So we don't have a Low Score or a High Score, We have no score at all.
  14. Rfe Help!!!!!!

Yeah sure that counts. She can write you an affidavit.
  15. Congratulations!...bear hug. One question though, you were approved on Thursday, why are you 5 days late to tell us!
  16. Why are you guys wasting so much money on lawyers? Anyone who qualifies for DACA shouldn't have problem filling out the application form at all, the form is really straight forward and not to mention that it even comes with instructions if you need it. LoL Anyone who hasn't yet filed out his/her application and needs help should really reach out to us or more importantly to the moderator JoseG, i'm sure he'll be glad to help anyone free of charge. ...but no one really have to pay hundreds of dollars for a lawyer and not to mention that even with the lawyers help it won't make your case be processed any faster than those who didn't hire a lawyer. If you don't understand anything seek free help from a friend, a parent or a teacher or drop by this forum, there's a lot of helpful people here.
  17. Newbie From Ny

Hello Nisha331, welcome to the best forum for Dreamers. Do you think you can post your timeline, so we can take a glimpse of where you are in your application process?
  18. Ready To Start Pullin My Hairs Off

Hahaa, you'll be fine buddy. When the moment come when you find out you've been approved, you will never forget it and we'll be here congratulating you. Those approvals come so unexpected and that's the best thing about it.
  19. The social security number that you've used before was it legally issued to you or was it fake? You only put social security numbers that was LEGALLY issued to you by the SSA. If you've used a fake social security number before don't mention it, don't write it down, don't even think about it. Forget all the fake stuff you've used before. Its time to start fresh...
  20. First of all, don't freak out, you will not be denied even if you don't send everything that they are asking for. Find whatever evidence you can find and if you come short, get at least 3 strong credible affidavits and you will be fine. The people who are working on these cases are not dumb, they know our situations and I highly doubt that they will deny you because of it. An RFE is not as bad as people are making it seems, at this point it means that your background check is complete and you're on your way to being approved. All you have to do now is to satisfy their concerns. Send them those little evidence that you could find with some affidavits, they are really helpful and they are one of the easiest things to send.
  21. Finally!!!

    Congratulations.
  22. Rfe

I think your bank statements, the baptism certificates, your daughters birth certificate and marriage certificate as well as the two affidavits from your employer and your daughters preschool should be more than enough. Try to send them evidence for the dates that they are specifically asking for and nothing more, especially nothing that includes fake social security numbers.
  23. Dream Car: Porsche Panamera. The best I can do Now: 2007 Honda accord or Toyota Camry.
  24. I Know Why We Waiting Longer!

Here's one thing that we know for sure, which is NO ONE on this forum knows exactly how these cases are being processed. That's not to say that TheGame1990 is right or that he's wrong, we just don't know. Ultimately though, this is a case by case process. It doesn't matter when you sent your application, it really depends on your background checks, the evidence you've submitted and most importantly the officer who's working on your case. In the end though, we should be here for one another and seek advice and guidance from one another, we may have came from different countries but we've faced the same struggles in this country. Lets hope that everyone gets approved as quick as possible.
  25. I Know Why We Waiting Longer!

If you guys don't have evidence to disprove what "TheGame1990" is saying, then don't just call it BS. It could be possible that students are getting an easier time in the DACA process, but that's not to say that everyone else isn't being processed just as fast. Every case is different. If the Dream Act does eventually pass we would all be required to obtain an associate degree, or a bachelor degree, or 2 years of military service in order to get a green card anyway.
