Yeah driving without license is not considered an offense for daca. Though failure to id may be viewed as obstruction...there is a million and one things that are considered moral turpritude which will disqualify someone but dont quote me on anything

I had a case with a misdemeanor too, haven't been aproved yet, its been since nov that i went for bios, my attorney said the same thing as posted here, it depends how uscis wants to interpret the misdemeanor, as significant or not. Either way, i have set my mind that i have about a yr of probation left and then sweet home mexico with my college degree. Im not being pessimistic but realistic, whatever happens nimodo, throughout my life the doors have closed for me, but after all god opens new doors for me to walk through and for that im thankful. Yeah unfortunately some of us hit rock bottom trying to bring bread to the table for our families.

Not true, I'm from Chicago and i been waiting since Nov. 26 (bios) and nothing. i too was updated during this week about my name/address on both I-765 & I-821

i had my bios in Nov. 26 and i sent my app in mid October haven't heard anything yet, its also on "initial review", i just gave up on checking, my sister is about 15 days behind me and on her status online it says document sent for production since beginning of January and she hasn't received anything

Since I am a Computer Science major, I know the govt keeps track of who walks in to their site. IP's and all of that is recorded in there. believe it or not, there is a chip inside every computer that keeps track of every keystroke, it was actually implemented on the Patriot Act. The little things some don't know. I cover my front facing camera from the computer because they can take pics of who views their sites if you have that front facing camera, same goes with cell phones.

Yes, I presented my consular ID because my passport is expired and I had no problem. Biometrics people are really nice actually, don't be scared. You should probably have a school ID with you just in case they want to see another document with your picture they can somewhat relate to. But the Matricula is sufficient enough

Yeah, after dating someone for two years and my parents not liking her I realized that they were right lol there was a reason they didnt like her, cuz I was too blind to see it. Anyways, I'm 22, have a twin sister whom has two kids. My nephews are wonderful but I'm not ready to deal with one of them on my own. Obviously if I end up having kids is gonna be with someone who is ready and most importantly as smart as me, at least.

Haha mine are the same, theyve intilled in our brains that LOL they are right but at the same time wrong. En el corazon no se manda but they did bring us here to better ourselves. I'm also stuck in between, as much ad what they say is true when you are in love you really cant chose. I really try not to give it importance, the one thing I do look at is for someone who is trying to better themselves, sometimes people who are from here tend not to care about being educated or at least trying to excel personally

How has undocumetned status affected your love life? It didn't really affect me until i entered until i entered college. while i was in college i dated a chick that went through bootcamp for the Marine Corps and it was sort of hard for her to understand. Her parents are undocumented also, but she was always given everything in a gold plate, so she told me she'd fix me when we got married. I left her because i knew when she entered the Marine Corps she came back and said, well ur gonna have to stick it out 6 years until my contract is up. along with that, her parents thought i was with her because of that sole purpose. we dated for over 2 years until i left because that relationship was draining me, her with wanting to be full time marine, her parents not liking me at all, and she didnt treat me well. it was as shame because im a college kid you know, she wasnt just dating some future "don nadie". Mind you, i loved the chick, for her to think that i was only in it because of that, was a low blow for me. How has undocumented status affected your financial and social life? it did affect my social life quite a bit, like everyone here, in high school everyone drove, im sure everyone knew i was undocumented here but ive always been a likeable kid, plus i was one of the best athletes in school, played soccer (of course), basketball, and baseball. always earned state recognition, even made state teams. never going to parties kind of sucked but at the end i am kinda thankful i didnt participate in those because god knows the many problems i wouldve gotten into Financially, i haven been that unfortunate, my dad es bien trabajador. kind of hurt me during my jr year in high school and just two years ago when both my parents health wasnt that well, after they went through several surgeries almost at the same time two years ago, i started working because there was not flow of money and bills had to be paid. back in october i got caught by the boss, she noticed i didnt have papers and well i resigned from work. a week later my car got stolen, and well everything has been going downhill ever since, hopefully i can get daca and ead approved because i need to work. Do you come out with it or have you kept it a secret and lived a double life so to speak? lol.. like i said, im pretty sure everyone knew, was never judged, ive given my community alot and everywhere i go im respected. they dont see me as the undocumented kid, they see me as a role model and the future leader of the community. i hope i dont let them down. Have you ever had a hard time breaking it to your friends or just lived in silence like i have? no everyone knew, my best friend is also a dreamer. me and her understand the struggle and we have been blessed to know each other, couldnt ask for a better friend. what are certain things youve always wished youve wanted to do through out your life? well now that im in the last stretched of my college life, ill be graduating with a BS in Management Information Systems and a Minor in Computer Science, so hopefully i can get a good paying job, get my parents another home, invest into my community and go on to Graduate School. Really hope i can get into Law School and ultimately run for some type of public office, i know ill make a huge difference in my community, i wont be one of those politicians that get carried away, my life has always been tied to my community and making a difference in our kids life.

I already knew the Navy Pier one was gonna be packed. I just went and hired a lawyer and they did it for me (for a good price), just waiting on news now, probably going to get called for an interview, around the time we submitted the application i ran into some problems, which in due time will discuss in the forum. All i really hope, i wont be the first one denied =(
