Is it true that you have to wait 10 days after DACA approval to apply for an SSN? I was just wondering because I read that somewhere, but I don't remember where

I'm literally pooping on myself right now. I went to check my case status and it said "Card/Document Production"!! They just updated it today!! When I saw that, I literally got on the floor and did a backwards somersault. Not kidding. I'm soooooooo excited!!!!!! Just gotta wait for the card and letters now! Yay! While waiting for this, I always remembered something that someone said on this forum: "God doesn't start something without finishing it" and it was hard to be patient, but it truly does pay off in the end and you appreciate it so much more. I also just want to say thank you to this forum for providing all the support and information

I'm just wondering if anybody sent their application to the Vermont lock box. It's only been a little over two months since I've sent my application in, but I'm curious to see how long they take on average. Thank you for any responses!!!

Hi latinagirl! I'm not sure how it works in Florida, but in Massachusetts, you go to the rmv and there's no need for booking an appointment because when you go, they give you a number and you have to wait for it to be called. Then, when it's called, you go take the written test, and if you pass, they print a permit for you! Driving is not that hard, trust me! Once you get comfortable with the basics of driving, then you can go out on the road. Just make sure you always use all of your mirrors, always make sure you're keeping the speed limit, always pay attention to the road, and watch out for other drivers. Don't assume their actions. Always be a defensive driver. Again, it's not as hard as it seems. It comes naturally to you the more you practice and it's fun!! As far as getting a license goes, in MA, all you have to do is a road test after getting the permit and I've heard that it's pretty simple and that the only thing that can get in your way is yourself. People get too nervous, but if you stay calm, you should be fine! Good luck with your test!!

Have you done a service request? In my opinion, I don't think you have too much worry about, although I understand why you're feeling that way. I think that your case probably hasn't been looked at yet (which sucks) or maybe they're starting to look at it now. But don't worry about it too much; it'll be fine

It is hard and I used to feel like that all the time, but just try to keep your mind off of it and try to keep yourself busy. It may feel like forever, but once you get your approved, it'll almost feel like it happened so quickly and it'll make the wait worth it. You've been living here illegally for many years now, so waiting a few months shouldn't be a big deal. Hang in there; your time will come

They send you a letter when they move your case and you can also find out if you check your case status online, although when you check it online, it doesn't tell you where they move it to, but it tells you the date of when they when moved it. The letter actually tells you where they moved it to
