    Dont worry, after your i821 gets approved, you have 90 days to hear back so you are still in the right time frame. just be patient nd dont lose faith.

I was gonna be a year, a month nd a week from now nd I was literally creating comments on this site on hoping nd wishing something would happen 3 days ago nd then it finally happened. I can imagine wat you are going through but trust me there will be a decision on your case soon, Have faith bro.

  9. uscis received my rfe on July 26 nd this wait is starying to get to me especially since i've been wating since Oct 1st.

      Uscis received my rfe April 22 and here I am still waiting for an answer also. I totally understand you I applied in Nov.2012 . Theres times when I get so frustrated not understanding why they are makings us wait so long. But all we can do is not loose our faith as long as we havent been denied we still have the oppurtunity to get approved.

    I dont think we are allowed out of the country unless we have an emergency, then we have to ask sort of like permission nd show them proof to y we are traveling out of the country. Either way daca is not a residency or citizenship, it just allows us to work nd drive, nd depending what state you live in, you may get certain benefits. But the fact we get approved doesn't mean legal status.

    Yeah I got same rfe, but u can go to your school nd get a paper from the person in charge of program stating when you started, how long it took you, when u took the test nd thats you passed nd also send copy of certificate. but also take a look carefully on your RFE because they do ask for certain info from the program you entered to get your ged.

    Go to uscis website then to sign up for case update, then register as applicant customer. Then you just fallow nd fill out info they ask for just as u put on application, full name, nd both receipt #s ect. Hope this helps

    @alcarolina, I had same thing happen nd when my name was updated, I heard back the same day. This happened to alot of ppl so if u have a email or text set up to receive updates from uscis then you most likely hear back asap prolly same day.

      That's a long time. If it doesn't arrive by Friday, you should call USCIS and ask them what's going on. They will most likely file a Service Request to find out what happened. There's a possibility the RFE might have been an error.

      Yeah I got a lawyer but I think we are both supposed to get it.

      I know, i waited 4 days and i didnt get anything so i called her and she said "Normally we are both suppose to get them but, i dont know why sometimes USCIS only sends it to the person representing you" so i used her letter. Uscis received my rfe and approved me.

  22. Havent Got My Ged

    Im currently enrolled in a ged class, nd the requirement is to have a diploma, ged, or be inrolled in a ged class.if you are not currently enrolled it may be a problem.I applied while I was enrolled nd going to classes for my ged so all I dod was send them proof that I was enrolled at the time. I was lucky enough to find a ged program that if you pass a test you can obtain an actual diploma not a ged certificate.

  23. so I reached out to my congressman about a week ago nd today I received a call from his offices, telling me that they called uscis nd had a lev 2 officer take my application today to get a response on my app, im so glad I made this move.

    Yhe fact that you got transferred doesnt mean that you will get approved fast but @me15** is right Texas is a faster cente, I also got transferred two months ago to Nebraska nd im still wating on initial review.
