My Service Request was the same, telling me they're backed up and to wait...I hope they don't tell you that, I was trying to call today, but they have solo many automated machines that I could never get my damn call through!! Oh and yeah, I read that option an I'm going to do it if it doesn't come by the end of this month (which marks the 8th month waiting).

u can't request a RFE , they send it to ya in case you're missing evidence. I think you meant Service Request ?

If you're applying on Monday , maybe you can ask for a printout the same day. Not 100% sure though I think there are other posts in which people have said that they've done it a few days after and they got a printout. Look around the forums a little more and you'll find some info.
