I read that we now have to provide our bionetrics and background check. Provide meaning like we have to do it ourselves and send it? Cause last time i was told, they were doing all that? And another thing is that now they said you have to be convicted in some crimeto not to apply.. So if you have couple misdemeneors but you were not convicted, you safe? This crap is tricky..

ok im going be honest so you guys can tell me if i should apply or not? when i was 16 i got arrested for committing burglary. i got send to jail where i was fingerprint and got my photos taken.. I search and it says that your youth criminal record erases when you hit 18 years old.. i was also told by the judge that took my case that this crime wont be in my record for being my first time and have good grades in school.. you think when i go and do my fingerprints it will still show my crime in my criminal record? even tho' i was told by judge that it was not going to stay in my record? also when i was giving my info to the cops they put my name, date of birth, and ethic wrong.. so that's why im still deciding to apply or not? i meet all the other requirements. if you think an attorney might help me to get my papers or i have no chance on getting them please tell me.. so i don't have my time and my money waste! thanks.

I have a couple of question? I have being waiting a lil more than 4 months to get my DACA approved. Today I received a letter saying that my case was sent somewhere in Texas? WTF! After waiting 4 months I get this stupid letter.. Does this at least says that my case is approved? Or does it mean other people have to check it? Any people with the same problem? How long you guys waited after the transfer? Not to mention I have 2 sisters that send their case the same day as me and they both have already their permits and new jobs.

My sisters received a letter from the place they taking care of their cases saying that there case was sent to nebraska.. but i also have another brother and myself havent receive that letter yet and we all apply as a family since our lawyer told us too. As far as i know, My brother and my case is still in Vermont. is it possible they just picked just them and leave me and my brother in vermont? biometrics were done exactly the same day by us 4! im just a lil worry about it? what you think?

BS! i sent mine beginning of january and did my biometrics on Feb. 5 and im still waiting.. and my case is being processed at texas also.. but im happy for you man.. but this is bull lol..

I was told the same by my lawyer.. if you have a misdemeanor, you have to go to court and ask them for a " court disposition" which it tells you what was your veredict and what was your sentence.. so ask for it.. if you have just 1 misdemeanor is not a big deal since it says you cant have more than 3.. hope it helps!

No, they said they are going to do the biometrics... you are going to get a call or something telling you you have an appointment to get your fingerprints and photos taken.. thats your biometrics.. you dont do em', they do. you pay when you get there and i think you pay 85$

I got my birth certificate translated already and stamp by a notario but damn he sucks at translating! i found like 5 mistakes in the copy. you think that be a problem once i send it? if yes, so i can re do it again by someone better!

Im guessing is there fault cause they send me a paper when i was finished with everything and almost everything was wrong.. Plus like i said the judge told me my crime wont be in my record cause of my grades.. I also forgot to say that i check my background and nothing pops under my name.

so you telling me, you dont need to show your criminal record? i thought that was one of the requirements, to show your criminal record?
