  2. Uscis Adds An Official Daca Processing Time

Marco, did you try what JoseG suggested ? Clearing your cache on your browser ?
  3. College Career

Go for it man. If that is what you like, don't let your current immigration status stop you. Besides, you are just starting so you have another at least 4 more years to go. God only knows what your immigration status would be by then, maybe you might even be a PR by then . FYI, some gov posts don't require clearance depending where you work and what type of work you do. G'luck with everything.
  4. Just Spoke To A Uscis Representative

Bro/Sis, I can't really tell you what to say because I have no clue what your situation is. But, you can tell them your situation and I am sure they would be more than happy to tell you what is going on - not the level 1 reps. For starters, I am sure you are concerned about your case taking forever so why don't you start from there.
  5. :''( Why God??

If I am not mistaken, the letter will include all the options you have regarding to the decision. A few things to note: As for reapplying, I have seen many posts saying you can submit your application again but I am not quite sure. I have read this site up and down many time and It doesn't mention it. But, For your sake I hope they would let you re-submit your application if they DON'T ISSUE YOU NTA. Best wishes.
  6. Just Spoke To A Uscis Representative

You should call them back and try to speak to level 2 case officer so you can see if your background check has cleared or going under an extended check. Level 1 reps won't have much info for you because I think they only have the same online access as we all do. But, level 2 case officers would know if your application is with an immigration officer or if they are waiting for your background check to clear. To get to level 2 case officer, you have to be persistent about your reasons to speak to an immigration officer because the first person you would speak with will try to discourage you from doing so. I know when I spoke to them last time, the lady I spoke with wrote something down saying "I demanded to speak to a case officer" but I am glad I did because the level 2 case officer gave me some hope about my case saying I should hear a response soon ( even told me not to do a service request etc.) . After 4 wks later, I got my approval. Best of luck. And, don't feel your case is the only one that is taking long. I have seen more than a dozen aug. applicants who are still waiting for a response.
  7. ‘Urgent’ To Consider Immigration Reform

There was an article about rubio that I read this morning, I will try and see if I can locate it. It explained why he was dancing around the Immigration bill after he heard the groups settled on an agreement. As always, these types of news suggest politicians are media attention seeking .... here is the article:- http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2013/04/02/what-marco-rubios-dance-on-immigration-tells-us-about-washington/

  9. Please Help Me

    - I-821D application:- On page 4, you are required to sign and date your application. And, right above it, you indicate that you were the one who prepared it yourself by checking box 1.a See picture below
  10. Please Help Me

From the picture you included the application is for I-765. Are you sure you signed the I-821D application also ? I would highly recommend that you get a lawyer to review your application (no offense) also but you can check my post below regarding your question if you don't want to go that route.

  13. Daca Still "initial Review"

I was worried about the same thing but I was just recently approved. I also had a work permit that expired in 2002 and SSN that I have been using for school and other stuff. Don't worry to much about it, some application might have to go under extended background checks and one of them might be you. If you have sent enough evidence that satisfies the requirement, I would just be patient because for some (including me) the wait period has been 6mnt+. G'luck
  14. Here is the thing, you can travel to any states including puerto rico, virgin islands, and the rest. But, as for taking a Caribbean cruise I believe you need a travel document and a visa if I am not mistaken. I've seen successful stories saying they went and came back to puerto-rico with out any problem. As for others, you should always seek legal advise or speak with the cruise agent (for caribbean thingy) to be sure . Taramo, we should plan a trip in the summer. If I secure a job soon, Hawaii is on my list for visiting! without no question ...
  15. Need Help Asap!

did you use your real name to work with your fake ssn ? if so, you could use your paystubs (please don't take this as a legal advice). Most paystubs don't include full print out of socials (Staples and Office depot paystubs for ex. - only included the last 4 digits of my ssn ), it either has last 4 digits or none at all but some small business include full ssn. I am not sure which users but some members from here even included their fake ssn to apply for daca so wait around for a response from one of them.

  17. 60 Days Almost Up For Rfe Respond

When I called to do a service request, I was told I was a day early and to call back. I wasn't satisfied with the explanation that I got from the first level call center rep so I asked to be transferred to a case officer (lol according to the women I was speaking to, she wrote down something saying I insisted). The next case officer I spoke with looked up my case status and advised me not to do a service request because my case is with an immigration case officer and to give them 45 days to respond back. She even told me my background check has cleared around feb. 20 and my case has been with a case officer ever since. So, I waited and I got approved after 39 days later. The second level officer I spoke with was very nice and my guess is that she had a good day that day or something, because I didn't think she would go in detail regarding my case and give me the info. From the looks of it, I think a different person form USCIS checks your case on the workload system they got and responds back to service requests.
  18. 60 Days Almost Up For Rfe Respond

Also, when the first rep you speak with gives you the run around reasons why they are taking longer to respond back, ask them to transfer you to a case officer (ie, level 2 reps). They would have more detail for you about your pending case (in some cases they would even tell you if your application is with a case officer or not) . The 1st level reps only have access to the same information that you have on the USCIS website.
  19. I am sure you are, and you just gave me diabetes with that comment of yours
  20. Absolutely Great...rfe

Gezinha, I don't know if this would help but here it goes ... If you went to college or university, you can use your enrollment verification as evidence. It is called National Student Clearinghouse, it is a huge database that consists your info and your degree enrollment/verification. If you have any type store cards, for example CVS,Safe Way, Giant, rite aid etc ... and you used it to make purchases at any time, you could call the companies corporate office to get your purchase history. I know for fact CVS keeps all its customers purchase history in some type of database because I use to work for them, and we used to tell customers who wants to get reimbursed for their medical related purchases from their health insurance company. If they say no, make sure you insist or ask them to escalate the call to upper managements. You have lots other options as well. Don't let the RFE discourage you. Good luck

  23. So I Think I'm Approved !

When I get my notice, I am going to restrain myself for couple of days until it all settles in. I am quite sure I know where I will end up if I don't :\ Anyways, I don't mean to brag but East Africans are well known for their hospitality, lol specially Ethiopians. So, once I settle some things on my side, let me know man ... DC got some nice african's spots where we can get shitfaced and chase some skirts. I will be hitting my 7mnt in a wk, hang in there! I see light at the end of the tunnel and I am quite sure it's not a train.

Congrats ... I say bring out that bottle you have been hiding 'n celebrate to the fullest. Don't drink and drive!
