You won't be evading taxes at all, actually the government would own you money not the other way around, except in this case you are working with a fake SSN. Tax evasion only applies to people who earn an income other than their paycheck and fail to include it in their returns when the other party who paid them files taxes saying they paid them, or when you decrease the deductible tax amount from your paycheck saying you would rather pay them at the end of the year and fail to do so.

I don't think they assign individuals ITIN # so they can claim their w-2 returns earned while working with fake ssn. If you file with your real ITIN, then you are associating yourself with the fake ssn and committing another crime. I dunoo, I am not a lawyer or an expert on this topic but working with your fake ssn and claiming your w-2 returns with you government issued ITIN sounds illegal to me.

ITIN is assigned by the government for individuals to file taxes. Fake ssn is fake ssn.

You used your fake SSN w-2 to apply for tax return with your new SSN ?? that could catch up with you in the future, just saying. I really don't advise doing that because I think that is tax fraud ?

A battery is a simple misdemeanor. If you only have one, you shouldn't worry about it too much. The only thing is it might prolong your application process time but that is not something you are worried about. Plus, I don't know if you was a minor or not when you got charged but if you were, most charges gets expunged when you turn 18. Because politicians are only considering immigration reform for political reasons, not because they have sympathy for the 11 millions undocumented immigrants. Lets face it, they are only doing it to gain more votes because they see american demographic changing. If it wasn't for that reason, the simple version of dream act could have passed back in 2010. Don't get me wrong, I want/hope similar package as listed above to be passed but they won't do it for benefits of people like you and me, they will only do it to gain more media attention and votes. Politicians are media wh**es, they will say or do anything to get attention.

If you can view your case, you shouldn't worry about that message. Its only referring to people who filed their case recently, and can't view their case status on the website.

No, it doesn't mean application process is going to take longer. The message is for people who are sending there application and can't view thier case status online. The message is clear, it says to give the system 30-45 days from the date application is lodged and until it appears on the cases status website. I think alot of people are calling in complaining about not able to view their case file on the website. So, the message is for them.

Tetesina, It shows up in mine as well. And, I don't think it concerns applicants who can view there case status online already. I believe the message is meant for new applicants who are just submitting their applications. If you can access you case, you shouldn't worry about that message. I totally feel your pain on the wait. I can eat and sleep but I can't focus for eshi and I have never been like this in the past. It is mind blogging. All you can do is hope for the best and wait. G'luck

If I am not mistaken, once you get new SSN # you can't merge your previous credit history to the new one. It is like starting out fresh so try your best to keep your history clean.
