An affidavit is a sworn written statement from anyone that knows you, which is supposed to be signed by the person/persons and notarized. But, from my understand is that affidavits by it self might not be sufficient enough. These are some quotes I picked up related to affidavits. Link to quote The bottom one is directly from dhs. Link I hope this helps and good luck.

Don't forget, you also have the option to send in 2 affidavits. Specially, if you can't find anything for June 15 2012

I guess raising the price of stamps didn't solve the budget crisis. -

From what I know, if you are working with a fake SSN #, most probably you are using a fake first name and last name. So, why would anyone send in a paystub associated with fictitious name and ssn # on it. On the other hand, if you are using your actual name and fake ssn #, you could send it in but the pay stub must not have the fake ssn listed on it. If it does, you can find yourself in a big problem when the person dealing with your app pulls up all related info to that SSN number. From the paystubs that I have seen, most don't include your ssn number on the paystub at all and some may include the last 4 digit of your socials, so you might get by. In any case scenario, it is always best to seek advice from a lawyer so you don't run into more problems.

Welcome to the forum. Stay strong and be patient, soon you will have the opportunity to prove everyone wrong and flip the bird to whomever are currently criticizing you. You just have to realize sometimes life won't be easy and accept things the way they are and cherish it. Depression is a common thing among everyone and you need to deal with it or seek help. If seeking help is not an option, then you have to come up with a solution that will help you understand things better. Focus on the good thing not on the negative. G'luck with everything.

I was google'ing "DACA approvals" and the first thing google pulled up was this site. Before that, I think I might have ran into the original blog page to read about 'dream act'. If I am not mistaken that page had been up since late 2011 or so.

How Long Did You Wait In California??!!!!!
splif0clock replied to SaraMaravilla's topic in Life After Deferred Action
Going nutz won't do anybody any good, . And, don't lose hope, you will get your approval soon. Sometime a booze will ease the stress so grab a bottle with a friend and guzzle dat sucker down till its empty. -
yep, there is much you can do beside play their waiting game. I hope you get a response back soon.
-
The wait time is unpredictable. Some people get a response faster than other and some aug/sept applicants are still waiting. The waiting period varies case by case and how each case is handled. You just got to be patient and hope they respond back to you quick. For instance, I sent in my app on aug 29 and did my bio on oct. 3 but I am still waiting. G'luck

splif0clock replied to Ronny17's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Well, your SSN card would arrive to you with in 7-10 days after applying. I don't know about TX but I have heard Cali don't require the actual card present so you might have to check with TX dmv. -
How Much Is It To Get A Social Security Print Out!??
splif0clock replied to Ronny17's topic in Dream Act Questions & Answers
Your SSN card is provided to you for free. The catch is when you start working, they are going to tax the heck out of your paycheck -
what is EIC ?? Not at the moment but I will soon. If you have filed for taxes before, did you notice any decrease on the return ? they were saying our returns would decrease significantly starting this year.
-
I feel the same way but I am sure it has noting to do with luck. Some just have to go through some prolonged processes than others so be patient jasmine your approval will come soon. By the way, stressing about it doesn't do you any good so I suggest you keep your self busy and go about your normal day to day activity . G'luck

College/work Taxes! Help Please
splif0clock replied to marcoazam's topic in Life After Deferred Action
If I understand it correctly, You have been filing taxes with your ITIN # but the w-2 form from work was under your fake SSN. I am guessing you took the risk to file because that could have got you in some kind of trouble but you didn't. I would not advise you to file for 2012 taxes with your new SSN # at all nor recommend that you go to SSA to show them your previous year w-2 form because you have been working with a fake SSN #. You could take a risk and file your 2012 taxes as you normally did in the past, and completely stop using your fake SSN. As for your college app, all you have to do is go to admission office to notify them that you have a new SSN # so they can update your record with the school. -
Welcome to the forum. When you get a chance, include your time line in your signature box. G'luck with everything.

It has been 81 days since I did my bio and 104 days since I sent in my application. I have not heard anything yet :\ Hope we hear something soon.

3 Months And Still Jobless =[
splif0clock replied to aliciadreamcatcher's topic in Life After Deferred Action
alicia, Walk into the interview with confidence as if you had prior experience. Keep eye contact at all times. And, if necessary mention the fact that you just received your work permit and you have prior experience that you couldn't include on the application. Most probably, they would understand that you had been working under the table because, immigration has been a hot topic for the past 5 years or so. If you don't want to detail out your situation, the best thing you can do at a job interview is have an attitude that shows you are ready for the challenge that the work might bring. Form my experience, If you get invited to an interview, it means you qualify for the job but they are not sure if you would fit in for their work culture. So, high confidence with the right attitude would most probably get you the job sooner than you would expect. Don't be too cocky nor too shy be in the middle and I would assure you, they would call back. Lastly, if you don't hear from them, just drop in unannounced or call them and ask how your application process is going. G'luck and don't give up. -
How nice of her! And, she is exactly right.
