  1. Hola!!

Welcome to the forum sara. Congrats on your approval and Don't worry, once your DACA gets approved, your I-765 would follow in 3-5 business days. G'luck
  2. Same here. Did my bio on Oct 3rd and I am still waiting ...
  3. All These Years And For What?

Correct! But, no one chooses to be in those situation and the same goes to us. We( I should not include myself in this) were not given a choice to live the undocumented life. So, in my personal opinion I somehow consider them alike minus the Innocent killings.
  4. All These Years And For What?

I got to say, sometimes I break down and say F**k this eshi. But, at the end of the day, I always look at all the sad stories from around the world and be like It could be worse for me because most of the stories you hear are just sad. I could be in a city where there is constant war, no food to eat, or be in a situation where I don't have a place to call home. So, I end up telling myself that my life struggles are teaching me to become a better person than the average person. And, I do believe it made me a better person minus being too emotional. You just got to remember your situation could be worst and try to make the best out of little things and stay positive.
  5. Social Networks

Don't feel bad. Actually, be glad that you don't have one cause privacy issue is getting out of hand with FB and its alike. I deleted mine almost 2 years ago and never been on it since. Anyway, you might want to check this article out http://arstechnica.com/business/2013/01/on-facebook-users-can-no-longer-hide-from-search-results/
  6. European Soccer League

By the way, I just read Pep is going to Bayern Munich.
  7. New To This!

Stay strong and have faith for the best. It will come through for all of us when the time is right.
  8. Expired B2 visa here as well. Mom's applied for political asylum which was denied back in 2000. Ever since then, well you figure the rest out. I am still waiting for approval, even though my lil sis got approved in 22 or 28days later after talking her bio.
  9. European Soccer League

LMAO ! football not handballl @Aled, Can you imagine if Luis had the 3 chelsea midlfilders supporting him from behind + gerrad?? F***, I am drooling for just thinking that. Too bad, torres has not been able to capitalize on the support.
  10. Vermont Center

    Congrats !!!
  11. European Soccer League

Last time I saw Porto play, Hulk was the talking point since Chelsea wanted him last summer. And, If I am not mistaken I think he is from Brazil too. I haven't watched any games of porto or read about there current stats though. So,I am a bit clueless about Porto or France'e club team. Man, I just wish Liverpool would get rid of there semi-strict England only players under 24 rule so they could get more international players. I would like to see some players like Neymar but Its highly unlikely they would get such a player. =(
  12. European Soccer League

There is no way Atletico would sell Falcao. If they do, I don't think they can keep there current form in la liga and I am sure they know it too. As for pep going to city, its highly possible and remember chelsea owner also would like to see him replacing rafa. And, from what I know about chelsea owner, he would outspend city if pep hesitates because he wants him there. But, I can see Pep fitting right in to replace mancini and implementing his way of playing from his barac days and creating a beast team out of city current players.
  13. Delay On Approvals

Once my application gets approved and I get that email notification. I will be like .
  14. Delay On Approvals

LoL, there freaking salary should be enough. All they got to do is review your info and stamp the freaking application and forward it to the production department. I don't think that hard bro. But, I believe the procedure they have to follow could be harsh on the applicant.
  15. Delay On Approvals

Every case differs. For instance, me and my little sister applied to Vermont office 3or4 days apart. She got her approval after taking her bio in 22 or 28 days, if I remember correctly. We both are on the same asylum case, live in the same location, sent in almost similar evidence, but the only difference I saw is that she finished her undergrad in a different University of Maryland school system. And, I am sure what school you went to really don't matter, but I have been waiting since Aug. 31. So, my guess is each application goes through different procedure which would affect the decision period. Always, remember they will scrutinize your application in any way the could. So, be patient and Hope for the best. Best of Luck
  16. European Soccer League

Of course, they were lucky but the momentum says they could pull it off, man. Just the same way Barca lost to Chelsea last year, Celtics could be that same upsetting team that beats the better opposition. Plus, once any teams gets on the pitch, one team is bound to lose and factors like confidence plays a major roll on wining. By the way, remember currently Barca are unbeaten in la lega, plus they only lost to Celtics and tied to Benfica in Champions League. Which makes it there best ever running record from what I can remember. So, I wouldn't compare them to there last year form. But, in any game where Barca is playing in the Champions league is going to be one sick match. And, I hope ManU loses to Real Madrid. Now that game, I wouldn't mind betting on if I had spare $$$.
  17. If the check is made to you with your proper info (including your own SSN) then you should not worry to much about it. They already know that we have been working illegally, so it is highly unlikely to cause any problems. Unless, the provided info is not yours then you have something to worry about. For your other question, After they receive your initial application with the proper supporting document, you were suppose to get 2 notice of action(I-797c) letters for your I-765 application(Employment Authorization) and another one for I-821D(Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival). The first two letters only include, your receipt number and detailed information on, when they received your application, Date received, etc... and including a letter informing you that they have begun your application process. The only important info those letters are your receipt number, which would allow you to check your case status online at http://www.usics.gov. Then, after 5-7 days later, you would get another I-797c letter informing you to appear at your local USCIS office for bio-metrics. On the same paper, it would also include your prior receipt numbers as the application number. And, don't forget it only has been 20 working days since you have taken your bio-metrics. So, be patient, some application (including mine) have been taking 100+ days to get approved . You just need to stop worrying too much about your case and go on to your regular day to day activity. I wish you all the best ....
  18. European Soccer League

I won't put my money on Juve Vs Celtics game. The way Celtics play from what I have seen they are one dangerous underdog team man. Don't forget Celtics found a way to beat Barcelona on there second head-on group stage match. So it really hard to say, If Juve would overcome celtics confidence and advance to the next round. For possible Juve vs Barca match, I've to say that would be one heck of a match man. And, I would be rooting for the wining team with a possibility of supporting Juve - if they can find a way of containing Barca one two passes. I wouldn't mind seeing Pirlo pick up champions league trophy for once.
  19. Hallo Folks

Thanks all. Yea, there isn't much I can do beside be patient and go about my business.
  20. Proof For June 15Th???

What you have sent them should be enough. Remember, the I-821D instruction for applying clearly says " any other relevant document" to proof you were present on June 15. So, In any case scenario, If you provided a concrete evidence that shows you were continuously present from June 2007 onward ( like school records, medical records etc ...), you shouldn't worry too much about the evidence you sent them for June 15 present requirement. They know any sane person won't just get up and leave after living in the states for 5 years =), unless they were deported and they know they would have a record of it somewhere. And, Don't worry about your case taking too long. Remember, they have procedures that they have to follow which might stall the approval for some (including me). As long as, they have not sent you an RFE, your approval will be due in time. Have faith and go about your day to day activities. After all, we all have lived in the shadows for a while so few more months should not worry you too much.
  21. I have been stopped and booked for driving without a permit in 2005. It was my fault because I saw the sobriety checkpoint from 3 blocks away but kept driving toward it. Thinking, I was not drunk nor look drunk and I have my seat-belts on so they won't bother me, even-though I could have made a left turn to avoid the checkpoint. It turns out that I didn't have my seat-belts on properly. I know, I know, I was like wtf at first as well but it turns out, the car I was driving was a 94 accord that had 2 seat-belts- one that is attached to the door and second one, is attached to your seat that goes around your waist. By law you are required to have both of them buckled or else you face a fine. In my case, I only had the one by the door that automatically straps you. I passed 2 cops and on the third one he instructed me to pull over (I still don't know how the F*** he was able to see my second seat-belt) . He asked for driver licences and registration. I gave him the car registration and claimed that I had left my licence at home. Then, he requested all my info so he can pull my information, knowing for fact that won't help me, I gave him my details ( including my own SSN). After, 20 minutes later he came back to lock me up, even though the rest of officers were saying ticket him and let him go because you know, they are out there to stop drunk drivers not lock people up, who don't have there licence with them. The police office that was processing me was pissed off as well because I was another workload for him that they could have avoided. They took me to the station and booked me for driving without a permit. A family member came to the station to pay 75$ bail. On my way out, one of the officers handed me a $75 ticket for driving without a permit and said, either I can pay the ticket without no noise, if I want to avoid court appearance, or I can contest it saying, I have a drive permit and appear at court with my permit to see a judge. I said, I will think about it and walked out from the station. The next morning, I went to dmv and paid $75 ticket. And, that was it! I never found my self behind a steering wheel after that drama.... It was one annoying experience.
  22. New To This!

Welcome to the forums. Don't worry too much about your application talking too long. Because, there are some who applied before for you that are still waiting for approval - including myself. Just go about your regular day to day chores without stressing yourself about it. FYI, Most applications have to go through various steps if your case-officer thinks it needs too. So, most likely our applications are being scrutinized by various case-officers that will eventually get approved, if no issue is found. If you meet the requirements and have stayed out of major trouble, you bets believe your application will be approved. One advise that I would stress to you is, don't go to any lawyers and spend $$$ on the same information you can get for free from your local INS office or by calling the 800 #. Best of luck and Don't forget, You can always vent on this forum =)
  23. Hi I'm Armando

What a nice story bro. I feel your pain man. I have been there and went through various emotional states when I was left out of some school activity back in high school. All I can say to you is this, You have achieved something that most natives won't be able to pull with all those utilities around them. So relax and make the best of the worst moments because it could have been worst. I salute you for finishing your undergrad year and for being a valedictorian of class 2012 !
