I already called them to talk about my application, but i don't have a receipt number. They say they wrote on the copy of the check when they made the payment effective, however, they turned that payment into an electronic payment, so there is no copy and no receipt number. They couldn't pull up my file with my last name, date of birth, or current address. I mean come on, USCIS employees are that inept or something wrong just happened to my paperwork? What do you think of this situation and thanks again for all your advice and help. Best regards! im gonna try to call again see if can i speak with someone competent.

not at all, maybe I haven't speak to an actual representative, and just the answering machine, ill try again tomorrow since today is a holiday, but you sure is the right number? and what info do they ask for to look for your case? Thanks.

i did call that number, however, they only give you information about the Deferred action you already know. And when you want to talk to a representative, they only accept your call if you have an INFOPASS or whatever! Thanks for the help anyways!

Thanks pswa83, however I went trough the USCIS website, and at the link where you can request info, it says clearly that they don't give any kind of information about applications already sent, or in the process, therefore, I don't think they'll provide with any info. Whay number should I call then? Thanks again.

Talking about too long? Im from Colorado, Send paperwork on Aug 15th, I know they received it because they made the payment effective. After that, no notice or answer of any kind whatsoever, please help?
