So I filed my taxes in feb I got my refund back still missing the state one I believe I got a letter today saying that they couldn't match my ssn and to verify my social security withmy 2012 w2 form They r asking me to send in a copy of my ss W2 form And current paystub Am I in trouble should I do?

So I bought a car last yr And yesterday I went and told them I wanted to update my social secuirty and info with them they told me to bring in my social secuirty card and letters and they would update it ? Is that bad I did that?

So I been working at a hospital under someone ssn But my name and stuff is under me i told my employee kinda about my situation and that I had to update (i-9 form) and ssn to my legit one since I got approved so I did no issue but then I was thinking about consequences and on my old application I had marked down us citizen And Now i was complete honest now and marked it as legal alien. We changed payroll company recently so the lady had no idea. What do u guys think so far the lady hasn't said anything. I'm afraid this will haunt me down the road when I apply for a green card

i filed taxes like a week ago. i was using someone else ss and would file under my itin. this yr my tax prepaper said i would have to file under my new ssn, i did and the irs approved my refund but a friend told me thats gonna come back and affect me cause they r gonna c i was using someone else number since i only had my ssn for a month. what do u guys think. the lady who filed my taxes told me i should be fine cause the gov knows so many ppl r filing under a fake ssn and as long as u file thats what counts. what do u guys think? i just feel they r gonna backtrack my history that i been working and they r gonna take my permit away or am i crazy?

I'm being told by many to do my taxes with my new social security rather then my itin I'm just afraid cause the social I used to work with was someone else. And I don't want my new social security to be affected by the social I used to work with and I don't want to get in trouble since im trying to do everything legally now. Help:(

when i was working in 2012 i was using a fake ssn now i have a real one they are asking for verification when i did my taxes it was with my real one.

I'm scared to send them in It's asking me for the w2 Social secuirty card And tax form? I already got one if the refunds

I updated my I-9 form They didn't say anything My old documents got shredded I just hope it doesn't affect me I honestly didn't know before. Our company terminated our old payroll company I guess I gotta have faith and hope for the best

even if the social security belonged to someone else? they wont care that im using a new social? my name on the itin is wrong so i always have to write them a letter.

Did they say u must answer truthfully or say u were gonna get recorded?
